I used to love this restaurant. The food is good, but the last 4 times we've tried eating here, the service has been so bad that it's just not worth any more tries.
The first time it took 45 mins for us to get our food and after it was dropped off we realized both of our orders were wrong. Our server never came back to check on us. I tried to flag someone down but was told to wait for our server (who didn't come for another 10 mins). She comped us ONE meal. Even though both meals were wrong, we ended up paying over $40 for one wrong hamburger and a couple of drinks.
The second time we waited for nearly 20 minutes to be seated even though there was only one other family dining there and three other staff standing around chatting. The hostess walked past us twice and didn't make eye contact. As we started to walk out someone came running after us to try and get us back. We didn't have time to wait (especially considering how long it takes to get your meal there.)
The third time, they got our order wrong AGAIN (how hard is it? It's only toppings!) but instead of apologizing, our server told us we'd "better just eat it because the kitchen is too busy to fix it." Seriously? Had to pay full price for that lovely adventure. (Thanks for serving a vegetarian bacon....)
Thinking I'd try one more time, I just tried to order takeout, and as I asked for a veggie burger the girl on the phone rudely cut me off and said, "We take the name of the burger first. Do you know it?" How hard would it have been for her to just take my order without interrupting?? Is it too hard to remember "veggie burger"? If that's the case, you need smarter staff. It's $50-60 for 2 meals, since we always upgrade everything and order gluten free. I thanked her for her "polite" service and hung up.
That's four strikes. You officially have the WORST SERVICE IN ORLEANS. Either train your staff properly or fire them all and start over. Although, I'd have to say after four attempts and this many badly trained employees involved, re-training probably wouldn't do it. It is truly unfortunate that a once great establishment has fallen so far. When I ordered dinner for my family tonight through Skip the Dish I received a call from the restaurant as my food was being delivered saying they forgot to add a poutine to the order. When asked how they would correct this I was told that they would leave a coupon for me. I asked if instead they could have the poutine sent to me. At this I was told the employee would not be leaving the restaurant. To be clear, I did not ask for them to leave the restaurant. I asked if they could get the missing item delivered. I was then told that they would try to contact Skip and have them bring the item. But, the employee then told me once he hung up he would lose my phone number and not be able to contact me again. This alone seems very odd and unlikely as we live in a world with redial, but even if it was so, he could have easily asked for my info to ensure the situation was resolved.
The biggest shock came a few minutes later when I was reviewing the transaction on Skips app. Somehow after my discussion with the restaurant employee the cost charged to me went from around $85 with delivery and tip to $300!!! The attached photos show that this is no were near the actual price of the items ordered. Skip will be looking into this but I feel this is a completely unacceptable occurrence. Possibly the pricing issue is an astounding coincidence that is Skips fault but it seems incredibly odd after the incredulous service I had just received.

Read moreHaven’t been here for a long time, seems it’s gone down hill, the hostess ignored us when we walked in, a girl who was training someone else was the one who came, acknowledged us and sat us at our booth, we waiting almost 30 minutes after ordering for our food to arrive, my order arrived incomplete and cold, my wife’s meal arrived cold and 5 minutes after mine(hers was left sitting at the window which we could see). Then I after pointing out my order was incomplete, literally just a patty on a bun without any toppings, had to wait another 10 minutes (timed it) for my meal to be brought back after it was properly made but it was all cold and the fries were stale. Made for a really over priced and not enjoyable experience… not impressed in the least. Definitely not planning on coming back. It was nice that the waitress gave us a coupon for a free burger but given the experience today, I’m not banking on the coupon...
