Here we go AGAIN!! Went to the Navaho Location April 3 @ 6:18 pm at the drive thru and once again was turned back. Why? This time the debit machine was being serviced. When will this place get it right? I voiced my displeasure at the "on duty" manager and he had nothing to say except asking if I had cash to pay for the order. Needless to say I simply drove away and again went to McDonald just steps away. This place either gets a make over or simply shut it down. Horrible place. I don't recommend this place to anyone. Three weeks ago it was the Iced Cap machines that were being service at 6:00. Now this.
June 3 2024 6:00 pm Boycotted this place for a month so I decided to take a trip to see if any improvements were made after my last comment. Besides the owner did promised to make sure our concerns were addressed. Well guess what? Nothing has. Not that it surprised me. Ordered via the Drive Thru a Large Mocha Iced Cap, 10 Tim Bits and a bottle of Sprite. Had to repeat my order three times cuz the employee couldn't make out what I wanted. After a pause she told me they were out of creme for the Mocha, no Tim Bits. So I decided to take the Mocha without the creme. At the window, I asked why that every time I come here there's something missing or employees can't make out my orders. He suggested I bring my concerns to the owner cuz he's fed up of listening to customers' complaints. Paid for my order but then "where's my Sprite?" The girl who took my order forgot to ring it. So I had to do another transaction. The fellow who tried to sort out this mess also told me given the heavy turn over in staff, the owners don't care about training. They don't have training manuals, guidelines; they simply hire people, put them on night shift and ask employees to train them. NO WONDER THIS PLACE IS GOING DOWN THE DRAIN. So that little message we receive from the "owner" after our review, that they take our concerns "very seriously" is a joke. All it is it's a facade to give the customers the impression that someone is listening yet from my experiences, clearly we are ignored. Head Office must do something about this place. Take away this guy's franchise or something.. I know I'm expecting the usual message from him/them yet it'll be taken with a grain of salt. So fed up, I will write to Head Office and file...
Read moreTerrible customer service by a staff member, Lucay (unsure if I spelt it correctly), who was wearing a badge without even his name on it. (Happened around 4:40 pm today and the store front wasn’t even busy at all) And not just him, majority of the team members weren’t having their names on the badge. When asked if I could get a chicken noodle soup, he checked if they had any, he came back and told me they had no slow cooked chicken. I asked if they can make it, he straight away refused. I asked him to call a supervisor so that I could ask them and Lucay flared up and just left me hanging there. I asked him again to call a supervisor, he yelled at me from afar saying that the supervisor is standing right there on the other side and I could talk to him. When I asked for this staff’s name since he wasn’t having his name on the badge, Lucay pulled his badge out of his shirt and banged it on the pickup counter mentioning his name. I was pretty shocked at the kind of training he got from his seniors/supervisors/management, and no one has coached him on the acceptable behaviour and customer service skills at all. I feel pretty bad for him. Another staff lady standing beside Lucay apologized to me after all this happened and how absolutely rude he was. I called the supervisor and told him about everything that happened. Then at the end I asked him if I could get a Large Chicken Noodle soup, he said it’ll be ready in 2 minutes.
I saw 3 staff members around the window, 2 at the SNS and no one gave a damn to talk to Lucay about his arrogance towards the customer, that was pretty negligent of them and mere ignorance. No wonder how you develop that kind of toxic environment in the team when you have such members who aren’t reprimanded, coached or warned and then this behaviour persists.
He doesn’t seem a right fit for the kind of job and if he still works there, he absolutely needs to be coached, trained and well observed.
I hope the managers spend some quality time in training their staff properly because they do need it or else it shows that you don’t seem to care at all about the best practices, how the team works or the service...
