The rating that I have chosen to give is not based on the food but rather the service. I came here on Easter Sunday and had a Easter Meal (Turkey). After ordering my food I realized that I didn’t know if I was getting white meat or dark meat so I asked a server that was nearby (not my server because she was always missing). She told me that it’s a mix of both white and dark meat unless I specify one or the other at the time of ordering. I was never asked at the time of ordering and it had already been about 20-25 minutes since I ordered so I figured the food was about to come out anyways. The food would not arrive for at least another almost half an hour.. I would have liked to have gotten all white meat had I known this. I asked another server nearby (again) if I could get a Pepsi and my waitress came by to take my drink order and then never brought my drink. I had to flag her down again and ask where my drink was and she finally brought it. I had also ordered a nacho meal which I explained would be for my toddlers to share. The nachos were spicy and we had to send them back… that was after waiting at least 45 min for this. In order to even send back the nachos I had to flag down a server again and then he had to locate my waitress again which we then had to place another order of something more child friendly and wait again. She never came around to ask how the food was nor did she offer me a refill of my Pepsi and by the time that I brought it up to her we were all done and ready to go and she actually had the audacity to offer me a refill when we were finished. The cherry on top of this whole experience was when she said that she removed the drinks off of our bill (Apple juices which were INCLUDED in the kids’ meals+ the Pepsi). I did enjoy my meal I was just very thirsty the whole time. I would come back but I’m not feeling comfortable because of that waitress now given the fact that I only was able to tip her one dollar. By the way they had at least 10 teenage servers all laughing and joking around all over the place but mine was never available for some...
Read moreEDIT: I gave Chance R a 2nd chance and they came through. Service was wonderful and food was delicious with good size portions. You definitely do not leave hungry. My husband had the Salmon, his normal reaction to restaurant food is, "it's OK" but today he said his plate was very good, Salmon a bit dry but very tasty and said the potatoes, salad and rice were excellent!. I had the fish and chips...the fish was flaky and batter was light. Both fish and fries were delicious, and not greasy. I'm so glad we went back.
I was very excited to eat here but was unfortunately disappointed. The food was ok. I had the Nick's breakfast. Bacon was crispy like I wanted and beans were delicious!! Best beans I've had in a restaurant in a long time!!. Eggs and toast were normal. Rest of the family said food was ok, but a bit greasy. They had a mixture of eggs, pancakes and french toast. What was extremely disappointing was the service. When we sat down the waiter brought coffee to our table and said coffee? No intro, no hello, no nothing. I politely asked for tea and he didn't acknowledge me just kept asking who wanted coffee and then left and returned a bit later to give another person on our table my tea. Still no acknowledgement. I was shocked to see an extra $15.00 on our bill for the tea/coffee as we were served before we had a chance to see what was included on the menu. Was not impressed with the extra expense. He then took our order and food came. We ate and when we asked for anything else, which wasnt much there was no politeness from our waiter even though we said please and thank you. So disrespectful. A to go plate was requested and he pretty much threw it on the table. I paid by a gift card and even then he was just wanting to get rid of us. He pretty much asked if the leftover on the card was his tip. I said no but although undeserving, I left him some cash on the table. I've been in the restaurant business for 30 years, not sure why this person thinks its ok to mistreat paying customers and still be tippped. Very...

My 91 year old mother wanted to take out the family for Thanksgiving Dinner as a treat so none of us would have to cook this year. We made our reservation well in advance for the dinner. When we arrived at the restaurant at 6:30 p.m. we were told they had no more turkey dinners. Wow! They then told us we had to order from a condensed menu that they too did not have all the items on. My Mom ordered the chicken parmesan and it was cold and the chicken was burnt. My brother in law ordered the same but with a marinara sauce and I think they just dumped a tin of tomato paste on the pasta. The server then came to the table at 7:45 p.m to tell us we had to order desert because the kitchen was closing at 8:30, what?? She asked what we wanted for desert but hadn't even given us the menu or choices. She finally gave us the menus and they ran out of coconut cream pie as well So some ordered the pumpkin pie which came and was burnt on the top as well. When we left the restaurant we all had to scramble to get to a grocery store to buy what we needed for Thanksgiving Monday so we could have our turkey dinner. I just want to say we have been coming to this restaurant for years and we will never be back after this experience. The biggest disappointment aside from no turkey dinner was not even a Manager or Owner came to apologize for such a mess. We are not the type of customer to look for freebies but even a cup of coffee on the house would of been a nice gesture. We have heard there are new owners and other people we have spoken to said its not the same there. Even the server we had when we asked mentioned the same thing. Sounds to me Chances R have some major...
