Turkish Kebab House is a culinary haven for anyone seeking a taste of authentic Turkish cuisine. With their tantalizing array of kebabs, this restaurant is a true delight for the taste buds. I have been here 3 times since they opened and every experience is amazing!
The kebabs at Turkish Kebab House are nothing short of extraordinary. The meat is tender and succulent, marinated to perfection with a harmonious blend of spices that infuse every bite with flavor. Whether you opt for the classic chicken kebab, juicy lamb kebab, or a mixed grill, each dish is a testament to the artistry of Turkish cuisine. Their portion sizes are a little on the smaller side especially the Adana Kebab that comes with only 1 large skewer when personally I think it should be 2 large skewers for the price. Prices are expensive but I thought it was worth every penny! The triangular Baklava was out of this world! the unlimited bread served with tomato and yogurt sides was so welcome and delicious! the inhouse Turkish bread was amazing!
What sets Turkish Kebab House apart is their commitment to quality ingredients. The freshness of the vegetables and the attention to detail in their preparation make a noticeable difference in the taste. The combination of tender meat, perfectly charred grill marks, and aromatic seasonings creates a symphony of flavors that transport you to the streets of Turkey.
The service at Turkish Kebab House is prompt and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The staff is knowledgeable about the menu and happy to offer recommendations based on your preferences. They are very hospitable and do everything to help immediately. They have a bunch of staff that scans the floor to respond to anyone who might need assistance. I have never been served so promptly!
The ambiance of Turkish Kebab House is cozy and inviting, reflecting the warm hospitality of Turkish culture. Whether you're dining in or opting for takeout, the flavors and aromas will leave a lasting impression. The ambiance of the entire place feels very open concept and there are no booths so very traditional Turkish style.
In conclusion, Turkish Kebab House is a haven for kebab enthusiasts. The deliciousness of their offerings, coupled with their commitment to quality ingredients and friendly service, makes it a must-visit for anyone craving an authentic Turkish dining experience. Prepare to be delighted by the flavors of Turkey that come alive in every mouthful at Turkish...
Read moreLowering my rating to 1 start as they responded very unprofessionally to my review calling my opinion contradictory to reality!! Reality is not what you define to promote your business but rather what your customers experience from the food and service you provide. I simply shared my experience from my last visit which was very unsatisfying, and seems like I’m not the only one who had this experience lately, if you read through reviews you will see others sharing the same dissatisfaction. So instead of getting defensive, please be more professional and open to criticism.
Updated Review I have been going to this place since day one and have been there at least dozen times and their service and food quality have degraded a bit and portions have been reduced. On my most recent visit, I ordered a Adana kabab wrap plate and they didn’t serve me with the starters and bread that comes with plates. When I asked the waitress she only brought some bread and told me that the starters are only for plates which I had ordered. The fries came iced cold and not fresh; I asked her to change them it took very long to bring the fries- I was almost done with my food. Their staff used to be more friendly, at least the waitress who served me was very unwelcoming. She was in a rush to serve orders that she spilled water on the customer in the next table. Overall the quality and service definitely have gone down and the portions are not worth the price; seems like they are cutting corners to save on cost. Washrooms were dirty too, overall very unsatisfied. With a new Turkish restaurant opening in Ottawa, this restaurant needs to be better to keep up with the competition as I’m not sure if I’m going back again. P.S. photos taken are old, from my first visits. Amazing food, great portions and friendly staff. The service is great. Even when it’s busy they still make sure you’re getting the best service. They bring 2 of their starters on the house and we also ordered the eggplant in tomato, they all tasted so good!! We got the Cacik salad and it came in a great portion and very fresh. For the main dish, We ordered Adana kebab, and it was very tasty, the meat tasted very good and the portion was enough...
Read more**Responding to owner's response: Instead of responding defensively, you should have read my review more carefully & with better intentions. I dined in your restaurant several times before and I said everything was excellent. You chose to ignore that. My negative comment was about your take out service. I was never, at any point, rude or disrespectful to your staff. I was also never told anything about no sides other than fries available, instead I was given a lecture by your staff member about "policies" & was spoken to condescendingly. So instead of posting an angry and arrogant response, maybe learn to take criticism more constructively. Not everyone want a giant side of fried potatoes with their food. It would hurt you to give your customers more options, and certainly no need to talk down to them on the phone or online. It's not the flex you seem to think it is.
I've dined here a few times and to be fair the food was excellent & service friendly. However on my 3rd visit I asked to change the giant side of fries that usually comes with the item I was going to order to something else that is healthier & my request was sternly refused & was told I could still pay the same amount & just not get the fries. I find this kind of rigidity ridiculous & a sign of poor customer service & business. You have to give your customer some wiggle room for choices or at least be more accommodating so as not to lose your return customer. So I canceled my order & left. That was a $60 order they easily lost. The staff member who served me was also very rude and belligerent when I canceled the order even though I was very polite and respectful the whole time & kept lecturing me about the restaurant's "policy". Very foolish way of them to do business & lose customers for such silly reasons. If you care more about your "policy" so much instead of your customers at least don't be...
