Went here on the weekend before I even heard about the grease spill. We get there, place our order, and then go into this swarm of people who are also waiting for their food. (It's opening weekend, I expected a crowd but the could have set up those Que lines so people weren't just a mob in the lobby) our food arrives, and we leave to get out of the crowded restaurant. We get back open out boxes and we are missing sauce, utensils, and our sides. I picked up a piece of chicken to look at it, because it didn't look right and it was FLOPPY. My drink was piss warm, and my chicken was cold. We kinda laughed about how badly our order was screwed up, but it's also so busy we just wanted to get what we paid for and have our drinks be cold and our chicken be warm. I go in to switch our our food, and at least 5 other people are returning their food as well. When I finally get up to return my food, they tell me they're out of chicken at it'll be a ten minute wait. I explained that we have friends who are meeting us in a couple minutes, and we don't have time to wait and if I can please have my money back. they tell me that's not an option and if I expect it to be fixed I have to wait. I go over to wait, and beside me I see a woman pulling a hair out of her food. (She asked them to give her a refund and they refused as well, I'm not sure what happened with her after I left) I've lost my appetite at this time, and the manager finally comes by and says he guesses they can give me my money back. I love pop eyes chicken, but this is ridiculous. I will not be back again, especially after all of the horror stories I have heard from everyone...
Read moreTitle: Disappointing Experience at Popeyes: Not Worth the Money
My recent visit to Popeyes left me thoroughly disappointed, as the overall experience fell far short of expectations. While the food itself was not satisfactory, the pricing left much to be desired. Despite the hefty bill, the quality and portion size did not justify the cost.
One of the most frustrating aspects of my visit was the apparent lack of knowledge among the staff regarding deals available on the app. Despite attempting to inquire about promotions or discounts, communication was challenging, and it seemed as though the staff were unaware of any ongoing offers. This lack of awareness made the ordering process needlessly complicated and left me feeling undervalued as a customer.
Furthermore, communication with the staff was difficult overall. Whether it was due to language barriers or simply disorganization, conveying my preferences and addressing concerns proved to be a cumbersome task. This hindered the overall dining experience and added unnecessary frustration to what should have been a straightforward transaction.
However, I must acknowledge that my order was accurately fulfilled, with no items missing despite its size. While this is a basic expectation of any restaurant, it is worth noting that Popeyes managed to get this aspect right amidst the other shortcomings.
In conclusion, the food was disappointing, the overall experience left much to be desired. With pricing that doesn't align with the value received, coupled with a lack of awareness regarding app deals and difficulty in communication, I cannot recommend Popeyes as a worthwhile...
Read moreI am so sick of trying to get a successful order here. We asked for a large chicken strips with fries. The conversationwent like this: "A combo?" Yes, large chicken strips with fries. "The three piece or the five piece?" The large chicken strips with fries, so the 5 piece I guess. With plum sauce. We were told they don't have that sauce, but the bbq is like sweet and sour. "What sides?" Um, FRIES! Then they asked about a second side. Onion rings, I guess. (I was ordering for my husband because I refuse to eat there anymore. I find everything fried tastes like fish.)
Now that my husband's order was apparently placed, my son wanted to order. He wanted a four piece chicken nugget combo.
Neither order was right. Not only were no biscuits included, no sauces were included. My husband ended up with chicken pieces - thigh, wings, legs. My son got the same kind of stuff.
The store was not busy. One person dining in (observed through the window), and nobody ahead or behind us in the drive-thru. For $38.73, I expect better.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.
I'm sick of giving this stoew 'one more chance. Chances are all used up and we...
