Poor Customers Experience. Poor Customer Service. Very poorly managed. They have zero concept of time. I placed my order at 5:45pm on NYE knowing they would be busy and was told 8:30pm. I called at 8:25pm to confirm as on Christmas Eve they were busy and behind on orders. They said we are about 30 minutes behind, that was a lie. I showed up at 9:00pm and was told they were about 40 minutes behind, that was a lie. I left and came back at 9:15pm and was told it was still not sent into the kitchen. They said they would call when it was ready. I went home... waited... waited and waited... 10:05pm I got a call saying it was ready. I told the guy on the phone that I have been back and fourth multiple times based on the times they provided me and that I was not coming back for my food unless it was free or discounted. The guy on the phone, did not offer either nor did he offer any type of apology for the inconvenience or for wasting my time on NYE having me go back and fourth to the restaurant. Basically he said so you don't want it, I said no, so I am assuming it was taken back into the kitchen and reused for someone else. To make things worse while I was there I could hear them telling people "we are about 40 minutes behind", that was a lie. These poor people would end up back and fourth like me. When not be honest to your customers and if it is going to be 1.5 hours later then expected, tell them that. Also they young guy spent more time sat down playing on his cell phone then assisting customers.

I attended this restaurant with a few friends of mine for the first time about a week ago. The decor was that of a typical Chinese buffet restaurant: modest with 'traditional' accents. We were promptly attended to and were able to avail of the buffet almost immediately upon arrival. The variety of food was minimal, but it did have several staple dishes that you would expect to see at this type of establishment. The food was certainly palatable, but it was nothing exceptional. A lot of the chicken and beef pieces has a great deal of fat on them and some were mostly bone.

My issue with the food was certainly not while consuming it; rather it is in what happened post-consumption. Both my friend and I (who ate many of the chicken dishes) got very ill, causing a great deal of discomfort for about a week afterwards. The worst of it was ~8 hours post-meal and the remainder was mostly abdominal pain. Considering that both my friend and I had gastric issues post-meal, I would presume that it was the buffet that caused it. For that reason, I certainly would not recommend this establishment and I would avoid...

We reached the restaurant at 8:40pm. Business hours listed till 10pm. Seated and served by a waitress who asked our party of five if we wished to avail of the Buffet menu. We said we would and were told to help ourselves. The food selection was limited. The food was cold or barely warm. We ate and queried the reason why the offering was less than expected. We were told at that point that the buffet closes at 8pm but remains available in case people are not finished. We were not advised of this fact and were not offered the option of ordering from the menu. Take out orders were being processed and the foods were fresh and hot. If we had known we could have ordered a take out. Being visitors to Newfoundland we wished to try Newfoundland Screech. When asked if they had screech available they replied what is that? We said Newfoundland Rum and they said Oh?. We were served something but it did not related to the Screech we had on George Street earlier in the day. The bill came to $105.00 and was not worth the price for the food we received. We will never eat there again and would not recommend it to...
