Went with a girlfriend and our experience was very positive.We used Group-on so right from the start we knew it would be economical. The seating and atmosphere is poor as it not the best location for a restaurant but I felt as a small business owner they are doing the best they can with their location. We got a sushi for 2 for $34 and it was very good, no complaints. I'm not sure if the review deserves five stars but our dinner, service and experience was nothing but very good. Only thing I could suggest is for them to move to a better location. They are in what looks like a converted store front beside a Starbucks drive-thru. Best mom n pop sushi place on this part of the island.service is friendly,fast but remember, good food takes time to prepare. The unagi just melts in your mouth, the rice bowls are scrumptious and savory. Sashimi is well presented and delicious. Been coming to this place for four years now. See you for lunch very soon. Five booths and three tables allow for a small crowd to assemble which they often do. Also loyalty card with discount certificates for future orders. Oof. Sushi tasted like it had been made the night before, or worse. Even my 9 year old asked what was wrong with it after a few bites.

Rice was crunchy and stale, ingredients seemed off. Not sure why, as they were the only place open on a holiday, so they should have been busy enough to keep things fresh.

Staff seemed friendly for the brief moment I was inside, but I can't go above 2 stars for them just because of the horrid experience otherwise.

PS we were starving, and you know how food tastes better when you're super hungry....
