If you're looking for the perfect spot to enjoy great craft beer, fantastic food, and a welcoming atmosphere, look no further than Kame and Kettle! This cozy microbrewery, owned by the incredibly friendly duo Dave and Todd, truly has it all.
First off, the beer here is exceptional. Whether youāre a fan of IPAs, stouts, or something a bit more adventurous, their taps never disappoint. Every pint feels like itās been brewed with care and creativity, and it's clear these guys know their craft.
But letās talk about the food for a minute. The hamburger and shrimp taco? Absolutely to die for! The burger is juicy, packed with flavor, and cooked to perfection, while the shrimp taco brings a burst of freshness and just the right amount of kick. Paired with their beer, itās a match made in heaven.
What really sets Kame and Kettle apart, though, is the atmosphere. It has that perfect balance between lively and laid-back. The staff is warm, attentive, and knowledgeable about both the menu and the brews, making sure youāre taken care of from start to finish. You can tell that Dave and Todd have put a lot of heart into this place, and it shows.
Whether you're a beer enthusiast or just looking for a fun night out with some excellent food and service, Kame and Kettle is an absolute must-visit. Highly...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went with my dad the day before Father's day for some father/son bonding time as we're big craft beer drinkers.
Our initial reaction of Kame and Kettle's lineup was that of shock. They had 9 different beers on tap, which is a lot for a smaller establishment! As one does, we ordered them all.
The service, price, and atmosphere were all okay, and we were excited when ordering. It wasn't until we started sampling the actual beer that we found issues.
Of the 9 beers we tried, 2 we thought were good, 3 we thought were 'meh,' 3 we didn't finish, and 1 was a cider/beer which is not really our thing, but was actually not too bad.
Their 'Oh-Ve' was one of the good ones. As was 'Any Porter in a Storm.' Their 'Brown Ale' sour was not sour, which they did warn us about beforehand, but we figured they wouldn't be serving it if it wasn't what they intended. We didn't finish it. We also didn't finish the 'Wit Bier' or the 'Schwarz.' Everything else was 'meh.'
I understand that they change out their beer often, so it's possible that at another date and time the beer selection will be better, but without a few perfected beers on tap that I know I can get each visit, I doubt...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI'll remember this brewery forever because I called to see if ther was a bottle shop and no one answered the phone. However, the voice mail said to drop by for cary out even if they wer closed as some one was usually there. Since we were in the area, we made the trip. On the way over, my phone buzzed and it was kame 'n kettle calling back to appologize for missing y call and find out what they could to to help me. I am used to friendly service from local bottle shops, but never had an unsolicited call back before.
When I walked in it was bright and felt open. The food smelled delicious. The service was fast and friendly, and the two veers I've had from my cary out order have been plenty worth the trip.
It's not the easiest place to find, neither is it on the way to anywhere you want to go unless you know some one who lives in Fonthill. So, if you like local breweries, please persevere to get to this one. I'm hoping to be back myself one...
