My husband, son and I went for breakfast on a Sunday morning. It was busy but not crazy. We put our names in after waiting at least 5 minutes to be acknowledged. There was another young family ahead but table were being cleaned with enough room to accommodate all of us. A group of four walked in after us. Places there names in and as soon as a table opens. They just took the spot. They weren’t formally seated. They just stole it. I informed the waitstaff. He just shrugged his shoulders and continued on. Didn’t do a thing. This was clearly because of understaffing. After bringing a complaint with the company both through email and Facebook. They basically told me I was lying and that the table did not warrant 4 people. Though the people that took it was a group of 4. Clearly management was told and made up the fact that there was no room for us. I will not be returning. Not only did they disappoint me on our visit. They also disappointed me with handling a complaint. Clearly they have no need for happy customers....
Read moreI’m so sick of bad service experiences! I frankly don’t care how good the food is; if the service is not good I will not return. Such is the case for this location of SG. The service was sloooooow, even though there were only three tables with patrons. Our server—Rick or Rich or Russ—was in no rush to take our order. He finally brought over coffee—but no milk or cream. I had to pick another item because they were out of Peameal bacon and therefore had to ask him to bring me a menu. I chose an omelette that was really good and big. However, I left half of it on my plate because our server was no where to be found for a take out box! I also didn’t get our bill. I had no idea what the total was nor if everything was correctly tallied. It wasn’t until I was handed the debit machine that I saw the total. Read moreWe were here for Lunch today with the Family. Being a Sunday it was incredibly busy. I was pleasantly surprised by the amazingly quick service and friendly vibe. We were seated very quickly and it was refreshing to see how every person that came in the door were greeted right away even being that busy.
The staff were warm and welcoming, our server was friendly and took the time to talk directly to the kids, showing an interest in them. Was very happy with the flexibility to adjust a meal for a senior.
The portions were plentiful! My teenager was actually full! The food itself, fresh and well prepared. We had chicken Caesar salad, breakfast, burger, tuna wrap- so a great sampling of everything and no one was disappointed!
This gem has a friendly community vibe that is clean, fresh and relaxed with spot on service. An absolute must try and great addition to the Pelham community!
