Pita Pit — Restaurant in Pelham

Pita pit in Fonthill is just alright. The pitas are kinda expensive for what you get. I ordered the large "Philly Cheese Steak pita." The beef is tasty and cooked perfectly. The peppers and onions are cooked perfectly. The right amount of cheese was melted on top of everything. Once everything was put in the pita, it was toasted and wrapped and put in the takeout container. Once I got home, I started eating the pita, and the whole thing started falling apart. What a great experience with this location. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted with the friendliest and happiest hello with a smile. Today I was served by Ames who has such an amazing personality. She’s so kind, helpful and was very patient with my indecisive scatter brain. Her customer service is superb and she’s also very personable and relatable. While she was making my pita she was able to still hold a conversation with me. My wife and I went there to grab a bite to eat before going to do our groceries. We both got the gyros and they were very delicious. The food was fresh and made to our likings with a smile from their staff. We were greeted upon our entry and were treated with respect the entire visit. When we left they wished us well. The store was clean and organized, and we could definitely see the difference the NEW OWNERSHIP has made.
