Bless her heart, she was only working with the tools she was given, you can't fault Miss Karen (I think is her name) for that, she was really trying hard to keep it together, that's difficult being short handed & 1 of only 2 people working in the entire restaurant. They were a wee bit behind, but not by a whole lot, I can wait an extra 10 mins, that's not a problem, the hard part was watching her struggle with very little or no up front help, as the other employee was busy preparing orders and couldn't be much help up front anyways. They were really doing the amount of work it normally takes a crew of 4 or 5 to handle.

My wife had a early doctor appointment in Penticton so thought we would grab something to take home. The lights at KFC were on but the doors were locked and the hours shown were open at 11am daily. Decided to visit superstore for a few things and went back at 11. Sat at the drive through for a few minutes and when no-one asked for our order we drove back in the parking lot and tried the doors again. A couple other potential customers were there waiting and looking in the windows saw a couple employees in the kitchen. We all waited a while longer and when we saw an employee taking out the garbage asked him why they were not opening up. He responded "oh we don't open till 12". Poor management to say the least; if you change your hours the least you could do is scratch it on a piece of paper and post it on the doors and dive through location. Read moreI came to KFC after a 10 hour day being physically exhausted, starving and just needing to put my feet up, much the same as fast food staff feel every day. When I got to KFC the service at drive-through was excellent, I thought well here's another hard working person that just does their job...when I got to the window the server asked her callleague if extra lettuce was on the burger- she said "yep" with a cheery tone. I took my food she was exceptionally kind and professional. When I got my food the lettuce was not only bad being brown and slimy, it was also saturated mayonnaise and obviously was sitting for quite some time the food was cold the bun was greasy and had very odd texture to it thank God I didn't eat any of it any of it and I took it back they kindly gave back my money but the whole experience was just odd these people do not want...
