I was very disappointed with the service during my recent visit to this A&W location. From the moment we walked in, we didn’t receive a warm welcome. The individual with the long beard who took our order was not courteous and made the experience uncomfortable.
After placing our order, we were made to wait an unusually long time, even though our food was prepared and placed to the side. In the meantime, three other customers were served before us. This delay was frustrating and gave the impression that our order was being deliberately ignored. I couldn’t help but feel that we were being treated differently, and it left me questioning whether racism played a role in how we were served.
When we finally received our food — the Nashville burgers, grandpa burger and sweet potato fries — everything was cold. To add to the poor experience, when we asked for ketchup, the staff member simply walked away without saying a word or returning with what we requested.
Unfortunately, this was one of the worst experiences I’ve had at an A&W. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and that appropriate steps are taken to ensure all customers are treated with equal respect...
Read moreI love a&w. Best fast food. Love that they don't use ice. The absolute best hashbrowns, so thick and golden. The onion rings I will pass on. There is so much batter on them. There is some recipe on them I am not a fan of. I swear when I was a kid on the 80's & 90's they were different and so yummy. I remember pulling the soft onion out from the batter and nibbling that hallow crusty batter treat after. No such luck now. The batter is just too much.. The onion is cut thick. It's just not the same. The fries are really good so like them on please. Iove that I can order a teen burgers for breakfast with a root beer and hashbrown. Now that's breakfast. OMG I almost forgot about the breakfast sandwich on a sesame bun! Sausage and egg 😌. With some of that schricha sause they had for a...
Read moreI have never experienced any cold/flu symtoms during the past 4 years. As a 64 year old senior with a medical condition not allowing me to wear a mask, I entered this location, being the only customer inside the restaurant at 1:40 pm on 13JUL21. A short, old female manager named "KOM" refused to serve me and demanded that I exit the restaurant immediately after I told her 3 times that I am medically exempt from wearing a mask. Once I was outside standing on the sidewalk, she continued to bark at me claiming that I must leave the property otherwise she was going to call the police. I was born the same year "1956" that A&W opened their 1st restaurant. This old lady was all about putting on a show of force to impress the other teenage employees. She claimed that she never married....
