My family and I come here every weekend on Friday nights for dinner. Since the new owners have taken over the quality of the food and the prep time has gone down the drain. One night we waited about 45 mins for our meal, which the order was placed but the kitchen staff “ missed it “. Since the new owners took over they have decided to take away the kids toy chest. Which is very sad as for the cost we spend there a week you should be able to buy some cheap toys on Amazon. My kid is definitely disappointed.
Kurt the manager and his staff are always doing the best job to keep the place running smoothly.
This past Friday evening we went for wings (100$) later which is very standard for us. Kurt and his staff up front were doing the best that they could to keep the place running smoothly, every booth was full when we walked in with about 5 of the chair tables full. The place was hoping. I noticed the dishes were stacking up and there was no cutlery or bone buckets available. Seems like they were very short staffed for a Friday evening. I would hope that the new owners take into consideration how hard the wild wing team works and steps up their game with staffing accordingly. Shout out to Kurt and his team for always giving us 10/10 service to the best of their ability in the situation they are in ! The staff are truly the only reason we go back, but if the new owners don’t start to take it back to the way it use to run we may need to find another Friday night...
Read moreHow unfortunate that I have to post this. I have been a customer of Wild Wing Chemong for a few years now and last night was the second time I have encountered an issue. About 8 months or so ago my husband and I went in to dine. We were seated right away. The server seen us but didnt acknowledge we were there. 5 minutes turned into 10 minutes while 10 turned into 15 without being served, all the while the seniors who came in after us were served immediately. We waited patiently knowing how the service industry is a tough job. Another couple came in and were served before us even getting a drink order in. We left taking our business elsewhere. Last night we decided we would try again as the indoor dining restrictions were lifted. We went inside and waited at the door to be seated. There were no customers inside. One of the workers (possibly management) stood there talking to someone he knows all whilst us standing there. A young girl did pop out from the kitchen and look, but turned around back into the kitchen. We waited about 5 minutes while buddy was catching up with his friend and no one ever did acknowledge us. We left again taking our business elsewhere. If this is how the establishment is run on a daily basis, then no wonder your star average is 3. Wont be back and will...
Read moreHi there....
My partner and I were in the Wild Wing location on Towerhill Rd on the evening of October 20th. There was a staff member walking around the restaurant WITHOUT A MASK ON. Speaking with our server, this person was identified as the OWNER. We expressed our extreme discomfort with her coming anywhere near us without a mask.
The owner told this staff member that she has a medical issue that stops her from wearing a mask. She told the staff member that she would stay in the office, and not 10min later she was out in the dining room again.
If that is indeed the case that she has a medical condition, it’s even more important for her to not be in the dining room and possibly not being at the restaurant at all. Her actions could act to spread COVID-19 to others. She did not even keep her distance from patrons but was getting quite close to a number of different tables.
As a restauranteur, she has a duty to keep herself safe, her staff safe and most importantly to keep her...
