Osmow's Shawarma — Restaurant in Peterborough

i am honestly surprised at the reviews for this location. i LOVE osmows, have eaten their food all across the GTA. this location does not even come close to the high standards of quality i have experienced elsewhere. the restaurant is filthy, the staff is BEYOND rude. they could care less about your business. i have attempted to order ahead through Skip the Dishes for pickup and it was a disaster. they basically told me not to use the app to order ahead ??

the next time i tried to order ahead, i called the restaurant. no answer. called again. no answer. so i decide to drive there and wait for my food (which can be quite a long wait depending on how busy it is) and i arrive only to be the ONLY person in the restaurant. was also ignored when i walked in. i decided to call the restaurant while i was inside to see if their phone works. it rings, there are approx. 4 people working behind the counter. not a single one of them even bothers to pay attention to the phone. no one answers. i let it ring for a good minute. i was shocked! i was then served, again, rude staff. i asked to have the special with half fries and received an unapologetic ‘no’.

do businesses this day and age recognize that i am YOUR customer?? honestly - the lack of customer service sometimes is appalling. i wish i could continue going to Osmows bc i love their food, but truthfully it isn’t worth it. the food quality is subpar, and i would rather support smaller businesses that care about their customers - like OMG downtown ptbo. it’s a real disappointment to be treated so disrespectfully as a customer and i have been avidly telling others not to go to this location....

This is MY FIRST review(I never write reviews but I has to for this place as Peterborough offers way more selections of food for same price and proper portioning) and Very FIRST experience at this osmows location(Peterborough near Trent uni) vs GTA and I always thought that the osmows in the GTA didn't put enough garlic sauce but this location is beyond ridiculous with portioning(LESS meat AND garlic sauce)... their portions are way less compared to every other branch.(I usually have enough chicken to rice/fries ratio) Would NEVER go back and waste my money to this location if that's the portions they give for price. Also had some burnt chicken in my half and half order. I read some reviews before going and the most recent low ratings definitely reflect the quality that I experienced myself. Believe me or not but big osmows fan and live in GTA and this was just sad. VERY...

I had a wonderful time at Osmow’s few days back. I went there with my classmate. The food was very tasty, fresh, and full of flavour. There were many different dishes to choose from, and everything I tried was delicious. The portions were good, and the food looked nice on the plate too. The place was very clean and well-maintained. The tables, floors, and even the washrooms were spotless, which made me feel comfortable and safe eating there. It’s clear they care a lot about hygiene. The staff were amazing. They were friendly, polite, and always ready to help. They explained the menu and gave good suggestions. They kept checking if we needed anything, which made the service feel special. Overall, Osmow’s is a great place to eat tasty food, enjoy a clean environment, and get excellent service. I highly recommend it and will definitely...
