Freshly Squeezed — Restaurant in Pickering

During my visits to PTC, I used to make it a point to stop by Freshly Squeezed for my beloved Honeydew Milk Tea, complete with tapioca pearls and litchi jelly. I've been a loyal customer for years, but ever since the change in ownership, the quality of their beverages has noticeably declined. It's becoming increasingly difficult to justify spending money on drinks that no longer meet my taste expectations, especially considering that I've discovered other local spots offering exceptional bubble tea.

Adding to my disappointment, a few weeks ago, I noticed that this particular Freshly Squeezed location had closed its doors. Curious about the reason, I inquired with one of the employees, who initially mentioned renovations. I have been a long time customer with Freshly Squeezed I was visiting Pickering and decided to grab my favourite Pineapple juice from here, there was an India girl who was on call when I stopped by she gave a brief pause asking what I wanted I told her pineapple juice large and without sugar, she didn't say anything when to a freezer box pulled up a don't know how old container and poured it into a cup, I tasted it and it was extremely sweet and there was weird pulp which tasted like carrot or whatever at bottom all this time she was on call with someone. I ordered the oolong roasted milk tea with brown sugar boba and it was the most disgusting drink I’ve ever had. The boba was a yellow color and tasted rancid. It definitely was not brown sugar boba. The stand looked run down and empty as if they’re about to go out of business. Which to be honest they probably should. This drink caused me to have a stomach issues for the next 2 days and I didn’t even finish it. I had 1/4 of the drink if even that much and threw it in the garbage where it belongs.
