Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Pickering

Heard about this place opening up a little while ago, and wanted it to get over the kinks of grand opening before visiting. Overall impression is that when after all this time, it's still busy. I visited with my son today. The lineup was at the door, I think we waited a good 15 minutes before ordering. The sandwich selection is decent, they have 3 sizes of subs; mini, regular and giant, with cost ranging from $8 - $20. I want to say this is highway robbery but what can you do, we wanted to try. I was hoping to be blown away, but alas, no such thing. There were 3 people working when we got there, with a fourth coming in shortly after. From what I noticed, they only had 2 slicing machines - one in front of you, one on the back counter. The one that was being used in front of you, the person was continuously slicing meats and cheese ON THE SAME MACHINE. Talk about cross contamination. The heaps of sauce that were added to the sandwiches was also so much. The cashier was wearing gloves to cash customers out, and also assisting with wrapping the items as they were handed down the line. Might I add that when the cashier spoke on the store telephone, they were wearing gloves which they DID NOT CHANGE out of when they helped with wrapping the sandwiches coming down the line. Nasty. The lady that was making our order, I could not understand what she was saying as she spoke too fast and I asked her to repeat herself. Overall from the time we placed our order (only 2 items) and left, it was a good 40 minutes. My son got a combo meal, so for 2 sandwiches, add bacon on one, with a pop and chips came to $33.11. I have been to this new Pickering location three times and the food and staff are amazing. Right when you walk in you are greeted with friendly hellos from the front cash to the staff slicing up the fresh deli meats. What a great environment. Order on the phone with Yukta who was super friendly and made sure my order would be ready. When I arrived I was greeted by the person who seemed to be in charge and maybe the manager, Devansh! What a nice guy! He was super busy managing his staff but at the same time kept me updated on my order to make sure everything was on track. Keep in mind this store is constantly busy so be patient when you are ordering as everything is made fresh to order. Order thru their app or online or on the phone if you won’t want to wait at the restaurant too long.

The subs are incredible. If you have had Jersey Mike’s in the states then you will not be disappointed. The subs are large and filling and so fresh. Better than any other sub places in the GTA. I had the Mike’s Original Philly Cheesesteak and it was amazing. A cheesssteak that tasted like it was from Philly. Generous amounts of steak covered with grilled onions and peppers and loaded with American cheese. Fantastic sub! The Club Supreme was another great tasting sub and very fresh! They do it right here.

I have gone back 3 times and have not been disappointed. You can tell the staff are well trained and everyone is busy yet very friendly. Kudos to Devansh (I asked for his name to give him his props) and his crew running this Jersey Mike’s in Pickering. I will be back to sample the...

I don’t usually write reviews, but I have to for this one. The experience at Jersey Mike’s in Pickering has been nothing short of outstanding, and a huge part of that is thanks to Rahul, the General Manager. From the moment you walk in, you can tell this location is run with care, attention to detail, and a true passion for great service.

Rahul and his team are on point in every way. The subs are always made fresh, fast, and exactly the way you want them. The store is clean, well-organized, and runs like a well-oiled machine. But what really sets this place apart is the customer service—it’s unbelievable.

One moment that really stood out to me was when an elderly woman in line had accidentally placed an order at a different location. Most places would have just told her there was nothing they could do. But Rahul and his team went above and beyond to help her. They handled the situation with patience, kindness, and professionalism, making sure she didn’t leave frustrated or empty-handed. That’s the kind of service you don’t see every day.

If you’re in Pickering and want a great sub with even better service, this is the place to go. Rahul is a rockstar, and his team reflects his leadership. I’ll definitely be coming back, and I hope this location thrives because it truly...
