Orestes Greek Kouzina — Restaurant in Port Alberni

This was our first time eating here and we’re already planning a return visit. We live out of town and we were looking to try a new place somewhere and the wonderful reviews here were the main reason we picked Orestes.

From the time we arrived to our departure after eating, our experience here was superb. We were greeted by friendly hardworking staff and before we knew it we were devouring our freshly prepared delicious meals. We went to this restaurant because I saw good reviews on google about it but unfortunately our experience isn't as great as those who left good reviews. The food is okay but expensive for the quality that you get, definitely not the best Greek restaurant to go to. I ordered lamb and it was salty. Service isn't that good too. I drove for 2 hours to meet clients there for a dinner meeting on a Saturday night, and we were still in the middle of eating our food but the waiter came twice to ask if were already finished with our dinner. This place is an absolute gem! The food is fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with love. Every dish tastes homemade in the best way possible, and the portions are generous without breaking the bank.
