Garlic fingers were so soaked in grease it was pouring as I bit into it; instant appetite loss and sore stomach. Pair that with paying $2 extra for pineapple on one half of the pizza when it only costs $1 when you BYOP. Oh and there was 1/4 the amount of pineapple on the works side as that side, it was supposed to be half Hawaiian half works which makes it even worse in my opinion. Way less than last time (didn’t get charged the $2 last time) literally was so little pineapple it looked like what was there spilled off the hawiian. The works was just drenched in green peppers. 5 slices of hawiian to 3 slices of Works. Donair sauce busted open all over the pop bag. Honestly sucks even worse you only get one sauce for the 12” (same as the 9”) Honestly spend hundreds on average here and between experiences like this or multiple sauces and pops missing. This one was the straw that broke the camels back. Only wish I didn’t have severe social anxiety to be able to call out the disappointment, a waste of my last $50 truly. If my autistic child wasn’t obsessed with garlic fingers and there was another option in the area A1 would easily lose me and many others as customers. Wish we had acropoles here now that was good consistent food. Don’t get me wrong some days it A1 has the most amazing take out ever and it hits the spot just right. But those times are rare, and when you’re spending at least up to $430 on average a month you’d hope to see positive consistency or give up ordering. But again with my child that’s not an option. In honesty after doing the math and seeing I’ve spent $1,290.52 excluding cash tips in the last 90 days alone for that disappoint things are changing very soon. Autism or not we will have to find other safe foods for him if...
Read moreI recently indulged in a pepperoni and cheese pizza slice that left quite an impression. This pizza offers a remarkable balance that caters to my taste preferences perfectly. The thin crust, with its delightful crispiness, immediately distinguishes it from pizzas made with pre-made dough.
The standout feature of this pizza is its homemade dough, which adds a distinct touch of authenticity. The sauce, a harmonious fusion of garlic herb and sweetness, elevates the overall flavor profile. What struck me most was the cheese – perfectly cooked to a slightly well-done state, a personal preference of mine that adds a delightful depth to each bite.
A unique aspect of this pizza is the use of larger slices of pepperoni. While I typically shy away from this style of pepperoni, it seamlessly integrates with the pizza's overall composition. I wouldn't change a thing about it, given how well it complements the other elements.
In summary, this pepperoni and cheese pizza slice is a true gem. Its balance, homemade dough, well-executed sauce, and unique pepperoni slices make it a must-try for any...
