McDonald's — Restaurant in Port Hawkesbury

I'm truly disappointed with this restaurant! We live out of town and forgot to pick up my sons supper. So got home and has to send my bf back in to grab it for him. He orders a double bigmac meal with a red fruitopia. Gets alllllll the way back home AGAIN and I go to get the food out of the bag and it's a poutine?! Not only was I pissed we just waisted our gas to make another trip back into town to pick up his supper but we also waisted like $15 on a poutine?! The worst part of all is the customer service. I wish I could post pictures to show how many calls I've made in the last hour to try and get ahold of them a few of these calls the phone was actually picked up then hung up and I'd get the dial tone. This is just ridiculous!!! I dont know if its under new management or not but somebody definitely isnt doing their job! The customer service has gotten ridiculous! I can't wait to talk to the owner.

As for cleanliness of the restaurant? Well a few weeks ago my boyfriend and I went in on my lunch and I legit had to tell the people at the counter that they needed to clean the tables. There was no where to sit so we left. Seen the guy go and clean the tables as we were getting in the car.. like it wasn't even busy during that time either.. that's my rant. NOW ANSWER YOUR DAMN PHONE!!!

Please consider a hygiene inspection for this location - 3 times consecutively at this location I have stopped for a coffee and a mcmuffin whilst traveling to visit family, only to vomit almost exactly 3 minutes after my first sip of coffee.

The first time I thought it must be me, the second time I started seeing a trend, today was the third time the food here has made me throw up with the exact same symptom/experience over the course of three visits over two years (stomach turns to knots, immediately have to vomit).

While I have absolute sympathy for the employees that offer great service at this location (ALWAYS polite and friendly here), the quality of the product has never been great. The coffee in particular always tastes old and acidic which I shouldn't be able to tell at all considering I take a triple triple.

Without being a professional in the industry, my only conclusion is that the kitchen itself/the machines are not being cleaned properly. The only other time in my life I've had similar symptoms is a 3 year old keurig that had mold in the permanent filter.

At the very least, please consider this review for the sake of public safety. McDonalds is a frequent stop as I travel the maritimes, out of the 4 locations I routinely stop during this particular trip, this is the only one my stomach has had...

Every time we go to this McDonald's they always screw up our order but today was worse I was going through the drive-thru and nothing no worse and seen somebody rub their nose then touch the food I expect them to be clean but they are very dirty I would recommend not eating there ever again did anybody asked me about McDonald's I will tell them not to eat their they're disgusting try to speak to a manager there barely spoke English the one through the drive-thru barely spoke English so if you were going to McDonald's and expecting to hear people in your own language don't go to this one it's full of foreigners who don't speak English that well what mistakes on all orders they had to fix my order today alone three times to get it right once I think the health inspector should go there and try to shut them down because they are so dirty scratching her face no gloves on touch the lids then touch the donuts with her bare hands and put them in a bag for a customer who was parked behind me park behind me then she went and did something else with the fries with the same hand she did not wash I am not racist but when there's that many foreigners working on location you're bound to get...
