Unfortunately our experience was tainted by the misguided management of customer service by the employees left to run the Casa. Our children were excited to have a bubble gum scoop and a cotton candy scoop. The bubble gum was GREAT! Sadly, the cotton candy had a weird coffee-like bite to it that turned the kids off. I tried it and agreed, it wasn't what was expected. When I returned and asked if we could have a replacement flavour I was told, after a short whispering conference, that I'd have to pay! I did, my children's experience is worth it but, I was disappointed with the lack of compassion and understanding. The product was "ok" but the customer disservice won't have us returning anytime soon. Not with the competition...
Read morebeing from Vancouver, this place has awesome ambiance! it's a mix of ice cream parlor, desserts, and drinks like tea and lattes.
some of the ice cream/gelato were a bit too sweet for me. the pistachio was really strong. hazelnut was the only one not strong at all.
it's a really nice place to hangout in. so far loads of people would rather stay outside, but once the summer kicks in everyone wants to be inside.
there was only 2 girls when there where 10of us coming in all at ones. usually people with kids come here. layout of the place is unique and they have a couch!

In recent years i have tried to re-enjoy after ownership change. Unfortunately, the experience and my attendance will be no more!
The new owners have reduced their panini's by half, yet increased their prices, and continue to refuse placing cream out for self-serve. They also do not provide a welcoming ambiance/friendliness. In fact, they do not smile at all! In addition, the impression I had overwhelmed my stay even after only imminently finishing my paltry panini, is ridiculous.
In a world where customer service and decent cafes are dwindling, I alas will not spend my hard earned...
