Vu's Garden — Restaurant in Prince Albert

Well Vu Gardens...it was nice to know ya! We have supported this business since Rose from Saskatoon opened. Well...yesterday, my husband and I went there for lunch. He ordered Sate Rice Noodle Soup, with charbroiled pork on the side. I ordered the Char broiled Pork Vermicelli. When it came out, nothing was char broiled. Soup tasted like ditchwater, with only a few green onions. Everything was ICE cold. We asked the waitress to redo our dishes as Everything was cold. We also told her we wanted fresh meat, not the meat on our plate just microwaved. When she returned she said they cook the meat in the morning and have no other way to heat the meat unless they microwave it. 🤮 We stood up and left without paying. WILL NEVER BE BACK! I must say this place has gone down. Eaten there many times and it was good. Ordered take out for a family of 5, Ordered 6 dishes in total. Cost was $80. Get home and open them up and there’s barely anything in them. The Cantonese chow mein couldn’t even feed two people. The S&S boneless pork are strips of stringy meat with very little sauce. Lemon chicken is a battered piece of what seems to be one chicken breast cut up into chunks. Let’s just say this meal that was supposed to be a birthday dinner for my mom was very very very disappointing and way over priced. Probably won’t be back...

Vu’s Garden is amazing! They have always provided by the best service with great food. I used to go so often when working in the field that they remembered me and my order. Very kind friendly people. Now that I don’t work in the field and am in an office setting I don’t go there for lunch as often but still order food for take out and it’s still the same speedy great tasting service.
