A&W Canada — Restaurant in Prince George

The past three times we have gone to our local a&w and tried to order the frozen cold brew and frozen root beer, both with sweet cream. Each three times they have given either two cold brews or two root beers. The first time we just brushed it off, the second we went to another location to get the correct drink and the third time, we decided to just tell them it’s the wrong drink and asked for them to make it again. Instead of just going to correct THEIR mistake, the employee whom I didn’t catch the name of, began to argue and say that we ordered two frozen root beers when we very clearly did not. We said a frozen cold brew with sweet cream and a frozen root beer with sweet cream. Not a frozen cold brew with rootbeer as she repeatedly insisted we ordered when we were both VERY sure we didn’t say. She tried to explain how to ‘properly’ order the drinks and what flavours since we apparently didn’t specify (sweet cream is the flavour btw and we did specify), which was very rude and then finally told us that she would ‘make the drink but…’ very, very unimpressed with...

HORRENDOUS!!! This was once the best A&W fast food restaurant in the North. After this visit I'd consider it worse than the one downtown. Not only was there no toilet paper in the bathroom, when exiting the restrooms I encountered a lake created by a lady who obviously isn't too familiar with wringing out a mop. Once back at my table I was even less impressed to discover that the sprite I ordered was brown and tasted a lot like rootbeer. And instead of the Momma burger (reg $4.99) I ordered I was given a Buddy Burger (reg $1.99) and a half filled bag of cold onion rings. Needless to say i was not impressed. The worst part: this was once my best friends favorite restaurant to go to. Had he still been alive to see what a dive this place has become he'd be outraged. Ordered 2 combos to go, ordered at the counter. Watched the guy who made our onion rings handle the actual cooked onion rings with bare hands. Told front staff (who apologized nicely and went to get new ones). Cook got very angry and was arguing about it and refused to remake. Saw top 2 onion rings go in garbage, the rest went under the heat lamp (to be served to someone else?). Counter staff made us a new order, only reason I didn't give 1 star. Cook took garbage out, with bare hands. Getting really tired of staff constantly not speaking English in matters that concern customers, in front of customers. They didn't know we understood them, if they did, maybe they'd stop talking about customers in front of them, and wether or not their hands...
