🍦Who can resist the temptation of a delightful ice cream? Especially with temperatures on the rise these days, the answer is crystal clear. Recently, I had the pleasure of visiting a charming spot called Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory for the first time. It's a boutique place known for its exquisite chocolates and ice creams, surrounded by shelves filled with tempting chocolate treats.

🍦During this visit, our focus was on their enticing ice cream selection rather than their renowned chocolates – saving that delight for another day. They offer a variety of flavors, and our choices were the tiramisu and cherry chocolate chunk ice creams. Both were absolutely delicious and perfectly lived up to their names. Personally, I found the tiramisu ice cream particularly satisfying.

Today I was met with malcontent by 5 of the 7 staff. Was it my appearance to blame or the attitude of people in the buisness. I walked in on my 2nd or 3rd visit, initially I was asked if I needed assistance which I declined but still excellent and appreciated attention. I viewed the ice cream, the wall of preset boxes, around over to the counter to make a purchase of a couple items. It wasnt until I turned my attention back to the counter and looked to see 4 to 5 of the persons scattered behind the counter glaring, pointing and whispering. It made me totally self conscious and filled me with doubts about the inclusiveness of the buisness, very uncomfortable peering eyes. Purchased an 11 Piece assorted chocolate at a pop up store in Terrace for a Valentine’s Day gift for my partner. The chocolates were hard as a rock and tasted stale. I proceeded to email Rocky Mountain chocolates and corresponded with Rachel. I was told that there was nothing wrong with my chocolates as they had checked another box with the same date stamp to confirm the same “excellent quality.” I was asking for a refund for my purchase (I was denied) as I had heard that these chocolates were of the highest standards and quality.
