A&W Canada — Restaurant in Quebec

This A&W sucks. The prices are fair but the food is absolutely terrible.

The fries are cold and stale, most of the burgers are overloaded with so much mustard that it ends up only tasting like mustard, pickles and cardboard.

The onion rings are wet and sloppy. Everything either lacks taste or tastes like oil, there's no in between. The fried chicken burgers aren't even crispy. Just bad.

Their soft drinks are diluted beyond belief. At least the staff is friendly enough. Everytime I've been here they're not like happy to serve me but they do their job fine enough. If anything I feel bad for them because it looks like a terrible job. It's such a small cramped mall restaurant that it can't be fun to work there lol

Exactly yesterday, we ordered food in this fast food chain and one of the cashiers were treating us very poorly. We knew right away that she, this rude cashier, had a very discriminatory approach towards us, knowing that we are visible minorities. They were treating the other customers just fine, but not us. They gave us a hard time to be properly serviced.

Just because you work a mininum wage job, doesn't make you get the right to behave erratically and disrespectfully towards a customer.

Message to this cashier: Can't handle this type of job? I advise you...

I like A&W, the burgers are good and the breakfast is great, but the hours here are weird... I found online they're supposed to open at 8, but they definetly don't. Found somewhere else that they open at 11, but there are people in the kitchens at 9, so like what if I want some eggs? Do I have to go to McDonald's instead? I feel like the restaurant's losing customers because they aren't opened for breakfast. Anyway, I was feeling a classic breakfast but I guess I'll have to settle for a sandwich. Would love to be able to get breakfast here...
