Don’t be fooled the only criteria, which allows this hotel to retain a three star status is the outdoor pool. The pool is clean and welcome because it was very hot. The buses to Quebec City are truly the best and cheapest and fastest way to access downtown. Although the construction is scary the sidewalks in Ste Foy are crumbling so be careful. A cab to the airport was $35! It’s 12 km away. The hotel is a hostel not much more. It has no niceties no glass ware no bar no place to have a beverage inside the hotel. Everything is plastic and throw away. The breakfast is so disappointing. Great for children that eat sugary cereal and stale bread. The coffee is so diluted. The bagels stale the bread is the same all week. I don’t understand why a continental breakfast can’t include waffles or soft and hard boiled eggs. Here is a picture of a pad locked refrigerator with an extension cord leading to the breakfast area. Can you imagine having a room outside this loud refrigerator? The hotel for what it offered was overpriced. Although clean, the original room did not have a working safe, a must for a solo traveller. I changed rooms without a problem. The room was hot the air was not sufficient when I turned it up it was so loud. the volume on the tv was too low and fixed at a certain level. There is no net flix or you tube. Although there is free wifi. There was not enough hair conditioner, the shower smelled mouldy and old. Finally the lighting, in the room was very dull. Hard to do makeup, and I had to turn on all the lights and open the drapes to pack . It’s a hostel not much more. Try the hotel in Quebec City it looks so much nicer but it is double the price. Quebec City is expensive and the great shopping on Laurier in Ste Foy closes at 630pm

My family and I (two adults and two small children) stayed here between July 28-29. The room we booked said it had two memory foam beds, however as you can see from the attached photo, the beds were NOT memory foam, but rather extremely uncomfortable spring mattresses. Because we didn't get settled into bed until quite late (and we had been traveling all day with two exhausted children), we didn't notice the beds weren't what we booked until after our children had already been put down for the night. Rather than waking up our children and re-packing everything up just to move rooms, we decided to spend the night on the uncomfortable mattress and that I'd speak to reception the next day. The next day, I went up to reception and they refused to help - they said I should've come to them the previous night to tell them they booked me in the wrong room (I get that, but as I mentioned to them, we didn't notice until late at night when our children were already asleep, we didn't want to disturb them). All I wanted was some sort of compensation for us not receiving what we paid for (i.e., we booked the 'aquarium' package, so I suggested that we just be refunded the $50 or so extra that package cost as an apology for not providing us with what we booked. The front desk agent refused. The front desk agent gave me an email, and told me that if I email them, I'll get a reply from the manager the next day. I emailed the manager on on July 29, 2024, and as of today (August 16, 2024), I have not received a reply. I do NOT recommend staying here, as you will quite literally not get what you paid for. Find somewhere else.

I am conflicted regarding this hotel. It has pros and also cons, so I'm not sure if I would return. When entering the lot, there isn't actually any signage on the front of the building so I wasn't sure if I was even in the correct location. Check-in was relatively quick and staff were helpful. The interior layout and design of the hotel is very unique and I love the way it looks, however it caused a MAJOR con the next morning (we will get to that soon). The room was decent and totally fine for what we needed. Bed was a bit hard, but it was okay. The location itself is good, however we noticed A LOT of questionable people outside and near the gas station, specifically walking around the parked vehicles. I'm not sure this is a completely safe area based on what I saw. The worst part of the stay goes back to the design of the building. Because it has an open concept in the middle with a lot of tables, this means it's also the area where the breakfast is served. This causes an extreme amount of excessive noise in every hotel room and wakes you up a lot earlier than we intended. We had a long day of driving and needed a good nights rest and wanted to sleep in until 8am because we had another long day of driving ahead, but we were woken up at 6am by a bunch of people sitting at the tables in the common area beginning to eat. Based on that, there is no way I would stay here again. Just way too loud in the morning.

I had the unfortunate experience of staying at Lindbergh, and I must say this was, without a doubt, the worst hotel experience of my life. From the moment we arrived, it became apparent that this place is not only poorly maintained but also a potential health hazard.||Cleanliness Issues|The room we were given was absolutely filthy. The carpets reeked of an unpleasant, musty smell, as though they hadn’t been cleaned in years. The sheets on the beds were stained with questionable marks, and the overall hygiene of the room was unacceptable. The bathroom was no better, with dirty floors, mold in the corners, and a general sense of neglect.||Health Concerns|To make matters worse, after just one night, both I and my kids developed skin rashes, which I suspect were caused by the dirty sheets or unhygienic surroundings. This was not only distressing but also deeply concerning. As if that wasn’t bad enough, after consuming the terrible breakfast provided by the hotel, my kids ended up feeling sick for the rest of the day. This raises serious concerns about the food quality and hygiene standards in this establishment.||I plan to file a formal complaint with Plainte pour insalubrité ou intoxication alimentaire du Québec, as the conditions at this hotel are a public health concern. It is shocking to think this place is allowed to operate under such circumstances.||Staff and Service|The staff was rude and completely unhelpful. When I brought up the state of the room and requested clean sheets, they brushed me off and acted as though I was inconveniencing them. No effort was made to resolve the issues, and their attitude was dismissive at best. Customer service was nonexistent, and we felt unwelcome throughout our stay.||Breakfast and Facilities|The breakfast was, frankly, a disaster. The food looked unappetizing, tasted terrible, and appeared to have been prepared without any regard for safety or quality. The dining area was poorly maintained, and the experience left a bad taste—literally and figuratively. It’s unacceptable that a hotel would serve food that causes illness, especially to children.||Overall Experience|This hotel was a nightmare from the moment we arrived. The combination of unsanitary conditions, rude staff, and health risks made this stay not just unpleasant but truly alarming. I strongly advise anyone considering a stay at this establishment to look elsewhere.||Final Recommendation|Avoid this hotal at all costs. This is not a place for families, individuals, or anyone who values cleanliness, safety, or basic decency. For the sake of your health and well-being, choose a different hotel.||This experience has left me deeply disappointed and concerned, and I will ensure that the relevant authorities investigate this matter. A place like this should not be allowed to operate in its...

I am responding to your many emails offering me to upgrade and spend more at your hotel with add ons.

I checked into your hotel last night and I have never been so disappointed with any of my many, many stays at different hotels. I like to try out different hotel chains so see what the stay is like so I can refer my friends and family.

This particular location of yours is in Quebec City and this is what my experience was.

Your check in time is 5pm which was late but fine. I called ahead and informed the hotel that we were going to be checking in late and asked for late check out which was offered for 12noon and we appreciated it.

We got to the hotel around 10pm, go to our room around 10:30-11:00pm. We had been driving all day so we went straight to bed. Not long after that, it got a little warm so I turned the thermostat down by one degree and the AC unit kicked in. It was so loud, and I was so tired, I thought maybe it will stop making the noise but it didn’t. So I had to turn it off because my husband couldn’t sleep with it on.

I had to keep waking up, turning it on enough to cool the room and then go back to bed. I could not sleep. I finally called the front desk at 2:57am upset about this and he had the audacity to ask me if this issue started when we first got to the room because it was too late to call a technician.

The arrogance upset me more. So my question to him was, the last guest left at around 11am which is your checkout time, we were supposed to check in around 5pm, so was the room not inspected and made ready for the next guest, since you guarantee comfort and relaxation?

According to the night clerk, it was my fault that I didn’t inform him at 11pm of the problem and that it was too late now to get a technician in and there were no other rooms to move to.

My plans for exploring the city are ruined now because I haven’t slept at all and it is now 4:02am. We have a long drive ahead of us and we will be tired, and on top of that, I am still getting emails about upgrading. Am I to upgrade to another level of this experience?

I also have to look forward to a very unpleasant conversation with the supervisor about the entire ordeal. It’s ridiculous. It should not have happened. If only they took pride in their hotel and stood behind the guarantees they make so people would come and stay with them.

I will be posting this experience on Google and other reviews because I want to make sure hotels provide what they are...
