I got the all dressed plate and swapped out for the poutine. Food was great and the place really feels like an authentic local restaurant. Atmosphere was very cute. Our server was friendly and bilingual, which was nice because my French is not very strong. They have menus in English as well. My partner got the soup and really enjoyed it too. Great place to munch on some authentic smoked meat. It's been over ten years since I've had smoked meat (that being at Schwartz's), and this reminded me of why smoked meat is so good. The sandwich, though small, is piled with a mountain of mouthwatering meat that will actually satisfy. I loved the chips and pickle wedges as well. Absolutely no question stellar smoked meat. Would return in a heartbeat.🙂 Regarding the argument that it is too fatty, they ask you if you want lean, medium or fatty. I went for medium and it was perfect. As for the argument it's expensive, all I can say is quality smoked meat is expensive and for this level of quality the price ($9.95 for a 6oz sandwich) is warranted.
