I had been wanting to try this restaurant for a while now. We missed our chance when we were in Quebec a couple of years ago, so my mom and I decided to give it a try. The menu looked delicious. Needless to say, we were quite disapointed. They try to have an upscale atmosphere but it is lacking. The food is way overpriced for what you get on the plate. I don't mind paying more for quality food, but not when I leave the restaurant hungry. The food was good but not anything spectacular. I've definately had better italian food before. Also, I took the lobster risotto and had a piece of shell in my plate. I nearly choked on it. When I told the waiter, he did not seem to care at all. Our meal was excellent and very high quality. I tasted the oyster, carpaccio and beef tartare. Everything was amazing and we will certainly visit this restaurant again. Ambiance was warm and cozy. Very charming.

The only issue we had was with the service. I'll be specific because most of the staff were polite and smiling. Not sure what happened but we had a super sweet waitress to start and she was moved somewhere else. Unfortunately we all felt the second person assigned at our table was not super interested and much less happy.
