Roulotte du Boulevard (La) — Restaurant in Quebec

Hello. I am very sorry to post this. I want to be sunshine and roses, I really do. But I have come across something very sinister among some corporations working with the most vulnerable. And I need to bring it to the attention of Quebec. It could be going on in other places. But I live here and have lived here for 7 years. I cannot learn French. I am a senior and I had a stroke. Forgive me. (By the way, are you Canadian? And are you bilingual? And if you are NOT bilingual, whyare you a better Canadian than me? 🤔🙏😞 Most English do not speak up they are too afraid. If I speak up somebody will come along and call me a liar, or deranged.

My mother taught us English. And I will not apologize! I dare anyone to force me.

If I am not allowed in Quebec for the so-called shortfall, then the premiere should tell me or the constitution of Canada.

That being said it does slant my reviews. I don't care if you're not bilingual, but if you treat me bad in a taxi or a store, because the culture allows you to demonize English speakers, I need you to pay attention.

Seniors and English people are valuable assets. They have another side of the picture of Canada.

They may look old and feeble and stupid, but they are not.

Anyway, I got sick starting in 2021 with a stroke followed by many injuries. I used to do all my own shopping but I had to stop. And I don't know anyone so I had to order online. I was very impressed Quebec had food online. I never heard of that before.

Things for good for a while with both online deliveries I have used. I got used to the practice and was very happy. But within a month I began to notice short falls. Problems when I couldn't eat the food that was being delivered.

I noticed very tiny miny portions were showing up. The photos look like my regular shopping store. But the food was not coming from my website store. The photos were not the same as the food that came to my door. Look at the grapes that were brought to my door by doordash, three or four days before. I got so upset with the hundred-dollar delivery I'm disappointing fridge, I shopped for myself yesterday. I took a taxi and almost fainted. But I got it done. My fridge just stalked with freshness and clarity on what size everything is.

For example I ordered 12 free range large eggs. That is what was in the picture. I got 24 tiny eggs. Like they were like robins eggs 😄

Once I needed vinegar for cleaning. Vinegar is the most inexpensive but best cleaner. I ordered a jug online from the last online delivery at IGA brought to me by Voila. I got a tiny little jug that would fit on a table in a restaurant. I reviewed that online service and I stopped using them.

Now I was using doordash. They were very kind and walked in with the bags and put them on my counter. As an English speaker I do tend to tip better if they speak to me. Hint. It is good business to not be mean to paying customers. 😆

And I think employers and managers and CEOs, are responsible for cheating seniors. That's why I try hard not to be hard on the delivery. They are only employees trying to do their job with what they have.

But people, if you don't care, I promise nobody is going to care about you if you make it to old age. It doesn't matter how you are educated, or what you watch on TV, how you go out and spread your wings is entirely up to you. Make your...

Roulotte du boulevard = club sandwich Depuis que je suis jeune ( ça fais longtemps🤣🤣) mon père m’emmenais la manger un club sandwich. Au début c’était bcp trop gros pour moi je prenais 2 hot dog steamer ketchup!! (Toujours délicieux ) et une demi frite mmmmmmmm

Mais un jour j’ai goûté au club et ma vie a changé pour le mieux !!

Ils sont encore excellent Mais dans le temps en plus du poulet frais il y avait des tranches de simili poulet Dit de même ça a l’air étrange Mais non je vous jure la combinaison des 2 était un festin!!

Mais bref les temps change le coût des aliments aussi donc maintenant c’est seulement du vrai poulet.

Il en reste tout de même que si qqun veut un club sandwich délicieux venez ici Abondance de poulet, du bacon en masse. Ça y’en manque toujours mais comparé à ailleurs yen a du bacon! Tomates salade bref un vrai bon club

On est jamais déçu c’est toujours délicieux frites écoeurante … c’est un casse croûte comme dans le bon vieux temps!!

Tant celle de bourg royal que celle en face de ciment ST Laurent. (Pour les plus jeune. C’est celle sur le blvd st Anne!! )

Poutine sont bonne à l’occasion je change ma frite en poutine dans mon club et je suis pas déçu!

J'ai pris une grosse poutine BBQ. Ce format n'est pas sur le menu, ca couté 24$ avec les taxes. Y'a aussi un format jumbo (plat rectangulaire) qui était 32$ (je sais pas si avec ou sans taxes).

Les frites: Des vraies bonnes frites de casse-croute. Rien à redire, juste excellentes.

Le fromage: Bonne quantité, chaque bouchée avait un bon ration frite/fromage. Il était bon, mais je suis plus genre fromage qui fond.

Sauce BBQ: Elle était bonne, mais pas assez sucrée pour une sauce BBQ. Si elle était plus sucrée, gagnerais un point de plus.

Prix/Quantité: Une bonne quantité mais tend vers le cher plus que le pas cher. Donc même si c'est une très bonne poutine (ce qui est rare dans la ville de Québec), pas le "go to" par défaut vue le prix.
