A&W Canada — Restaurant in Quesnel

We waited at front counter for longer than usual, all of the staff looked overwhelmed and too busy! Finally young guy helped us ,was on the drive thru headphones and kept taking orders from them while we waited and another guy who had got his food never got his drinks so told them and young guy acknowledged but kept taking drive thru orders..not getting guys drinks or even starting ours and another waiter stepped in to help, got wrong drink for a lady,finally we got our rootbeer floats and it was just like a hockey puck floating and couldn't eat ice cream till it melted. I looked over and guy finally got his drinks, woman follows me out and hers was the drink that got messed up and she was shaking her head! Not a good day at A&W...something was not good that day,but I gotta say,usually they are very helpful, hopefully they can review what went...

It was ok. I had to place my order 4 times through the mic in the drive through before I had to tell them to please listen to the words I was speaking to him. Finally, he got it. I was driving away with my order and figured I'd check it before continuing. Good thing I did as the 2 orders of onion rings we ordered weren't in the bag. They put fries in instead and yes, we were still charged for the upgrade to rings. I went back to the drive through to get the onion rings. When I handed the bag to them, the bottom of the bag got soaked with grease that they cake all over the drive through window. I guess they need a new drive through window or something but it was nasty. I would hate to see someone put that bag on one of their vehicle. I put it on my passenger side floor mat and cleaned it when I got home. I can't recommend this location...

This location seems very slow if you order inside. They seem to put 90% of effort to drive thru.

The other day, they kept amongst themselves repeating an order amongst themselves, and it seems like they forget about it, and then they seem to remember, oh we still need that. Probably was about 10 min wait and maybe 1 other order at counter and 2 or 3 in drive thru while there.

Food good, but if you ask for something like no mayo, they are 50/50 if they comply with it accurately.

One manager there Cyrus (sp) I know has tried to make good if order is given to cust wrong. Well done for that.

Quality good, but don't expect to walk in and be out in 5 mins. Other A&W locations are...
