Quesnel Bakery isn’t just some cutesy mom-and-pop operation riding on nostalgia. No. This place is the real deal.
I drive 700 bloody kilometres north and still make it a point to stop here every time. Why? Because Quesnel, thank your lucky stars, you’ve got a five-star bakery hidden in your midst — and not the kind that serves up dry scones and sad muffins. No, this one delivers.

If you’re just passing through and want something better than Subway this is the place. If you’re traveling companions are into Subway you have struck gold in the CARIBOO! There is a very nice Subway next door. When you turn north onto front street hang a left at the Safeway. After you eat you can walk it off with a stroll south along Reid Street. It’s one way with four way stops. So...
Read moreThis place has the best food ever made. Fresh and lots of choices. Holiday centered items. Good prices and sales on day old products ect. Gluten free , the sugar cookies and gingerbread. Daughter loves it all lol. Has a few tables inside and some outdoors for the summer time. Cozy and quaint. The staff is wonderful and so very very friendly, happy and helpful. They also make birthday cakes and I believe cakes for other occasions such as graduations, weddings ect. They do it all! Best bakery in Quesnel. Location is convenient on the main street of the town. So, that being said....do not go here and buy my favorites - I do not want to lose out on them 😂🤣 oh, the also have sandwiches as well as a coffee station and tea station. Perfect.
