McDonald's — Restaurant in Rawdon

Today i stopped at this McDonalds(1st time client and last) location on my way home from a fishing trip with my 3 boys we were very hungry. Originally from montreal i am used to making the same order each time. We normally get a big mac trio with a small coke and at every other McDonald’s we have been to has a self serve fountain(soda) machine so we can refill our drinks when empty. Found out the hard way here that they dont have a machine they give you your drinks filled with your order. I asked simply after spending 68-70$ on lunch if i could kindly have a medium instead of a small as i was not aware of the machine situation , in my entire 40 year history eating at McDonalds have never been spoken more rudely in front of my kids and other’s customers in the store, than how i was spoken to by this manager(arkam) he first told me to pony up 20 cents more very aggressively and also told me he would not serve me. I then asked for a refund then he told me NO (so which one is it lol) because the food was ready. Got the order and got to the table outside low and behold i see the manager calling on the phone ( the police lol) to cover his tracks because he knew i was calling head office on him to complain. I strongly advise anyone in this area to stay as far away from this mcdonalds as possible and judging by there reviews it seems im not the only one with...

Check your order on takeout food - they make mistakes. Dirty and disorganized! Long waits during busy hours!

I ordered a sausage McMuffin today, I got a bacon McMuffin instead. They like to charge extra for creams etc. They are the ONLY McDonald's that charged me for a small hot chocolate when I ordered the Trio. I never take the coffee, I always order instead a hot chocolate or a cup of tea with my trios and NEVER had any other McDonald's ever charge me.

If you are ever in Rawdon, we have a lot of great restaurants, fast food and otherwise.... go to any other number of them rather than to the McDonald's!

I keep giving them chances and I am ALWAYS disappointed!

20 minutes last time to wait for coffee (for my friend). Our meals had been served to us immediately.

I complained that all our food is now going to be cold and they should replace our order (the now very cold lunch that we hadn't touched) and we were refused! Not good for business...

There is a huge 24 hour sign. We went to leave at 9h56 and the door was locked: no exit possible and plenty of people coming in.

We couldn't leave!

We told the busy staff, the said they now close at 10h00pm, so they lock the door. They will open it for us "soon"

Their soon was 4 minutes. We were sequestered against our will and kept prisoners for 4 full minutes, despite going back to the cashier's after 2.

They opened the door with no realization that you cannot keep people against their will in your store.

I also checked: no hours of operation posted anywhere, and the sign clearly says 24 hours, not 24 hours drive in.

Keeping people out, ok. Keeping people in? Criminal.

McDonald's Canada should inform this franchise that this behaviour is unacceptable, disrespectful and, like I said above, borderline criminal.

If you advertise 24 hours, you open 24 hours or cover the sign.

And you don't keep customers locked in. That is...
