I went through the drive-thru and ordered a chai latte. I order chai lattes often and know how they are supposed to taste. Unfortunately, i didn't taste it until i got to my destination. I took a sip, and it tasted like very lightly flavored milk. I didn't pay almost 7$ for a cup of warm milk!! So i had to drive all the way back. I definitely won't leave another Starbucks again without tasting my tea because of today. I told the girl the problem and she asked me if she could remake it. I gave back the tea i got with only 1 small sip taken out of it. They left me waiting for 10 mins. When there was only 1 man who ordered 1 drink before me. The girl said she would make it right away. But then made several other drinks before making mine. Even though i had already wasted my time driving back there. So it's ridiculous that she made so many other drinks before mine. When I finally got my tea. I took it to my car and took a sip. Again, it tasted the same and not right. So i went back in and told the lady it still wasn't right. i order them frequently and know how they are supposed to taste!! The lady who made my tea and another lady. Who I think was the manager treated me very rudely and acted like i was trying to scam them. The one i think was the manager even asked the other girls behind the counter to taste it because she didn't believe me. I wasn't asking for my money back or a free tea!! I just wanted what i paid for!! I wasted all my time and gas driving back to the store to get what i paid for! Not to get anything for free!! So it was extremely insulting to be treated like i was just a scammer!! I have never had this problem before from any other Starbucks. This is the first time i have ever had to take anything back. All the girl had to do was add a little more flavoring because the girl making the tea obviously didn't know what she was doing!! She was the one who asked me the first time if they could remake it. I would have been fine if they had just added some more flavoring. Thats what they did the second time, but the girl put too much in, and i ended up with a strong chai tea. But even that tasted better than the under flavored warm milk they gave me. It at least tasted like chai tea even if it was stronger than usual. If i was trying to get a free drink or drank half of the tea before bringing it back. I could maybe understand being treated like that. But i brought it back full and didn't ask for a free one or my money back. I just wanted the tea i paid for to taste how it's supposed to taste!! Wasteing my time, money, and gas to be treated like that!! I was so upset and embarrassed after being treated like that. That my body was literally shaking!! To make a long story short I was having a very rough and stressful day today (Oct.1st) and I went in the drive thru before I was gonna head home. First the lady at the intercom was very friendly and acted more like she was trying to welcome me not in the standard "Hello welcome to Starbucks how can I help you.." Way, I just told her its been a very rough day for me and I just wanted my Chai Tea Latte. When I went to the window to pay with my card she simply handed me the drink and told me it was on the house cause of me having a really rough day. No greeting, I ordered from the app inside the place, waited for 10 minutes sat in front of the pick up counter, I was the only customer inside, when I asked about my order, that had it ready a while ago but no one called my name. The whipped cream on top of the mocha was collapsed and almost completely gone inside the coffee, looked really bad and obviously wasn't as hot as expected, I wish I'd take a picture. I left the beverage on the table for another 10 minutes, I'm still the only customer and no one bother to come and check why I wasn't drinking my coffee.
