Boston Pizza — Restaurant in Regina

If I could give 0, I would. I am not sure what has happened but it seems that over the last few months the service with dine in has become atrocious. We visited this location every Friday for 8 weeks, sometimes more than once a week, and it seems that things kept getting worse. Today, we brought our family and we won’t be coming back. We ordered appitizers (2 sets of wings, 2 bandara bread), to which they came out with the main course meals, minus the pizza our daughter ordered as her main course. The wings weren’t as we had ordered and when we confronted the waitress the comment we recieved back was “the kitchen doesn’t care, they produce too much food” - DISGUSTING!! Who responds that way… we weren’t asking for anything but to tell us the kitchen doesn’t care, how awful. When I confronted the waitress about the appys coming out with the food, she blamed me for not asking for them before the meals. They’re appys, the definition of appetizer is a meal before the main course… to turn it on me was appalling. And remember, we have been coming constant for 8 weeks, at least once a week. WE’VE NEVER HAD TO ASK FOR THEM AS A STARTER! Then we waited 10 minutes for our daughters pizza while the other 6 people had their meals. When the pizza was delivered, there was no platform so our daughter had to sit and hold her plate to eat. And it was the manager who brought out her pizza!!! He couldn’t ask if we needed anything else, didn’t think to bring a platform, and certainly didn’t confront the concerns we has. The way the waitress and management handled the situation was awful. April 2025:

We ordered take out last night! One Medium Carbonara pizza ($32.74) and one Medium Pepperoni ($28.49). We got 50% off the Pepperoni pizza so subtract $14.25. Pizzas were ready in 20 minutes, despite the restaurant being busy. Which was definitely a positive.

We are happy with our pizzas! I find their flavours to be a little saltier than say Dominos but that isn’t a bad thing. We would definitely order again.

Oct 2024: After a disappointing burger at Birmingham’s, I wanted to see how @bpeastregina compared. I ordered the Boston-Sized Burger, forgetting that it was 2 quarter pound patties until it was tight front of me. BUT! I ate it all. And I am pleased to say that it was good! I ordered it with an upgraded side of garlic parm fries.

Burger was juicy and exactly want you want in a burger. There isn’t anything special about it, but that’s what made it good.

However, FRIES were the star of the show.

I wholeheartedly appreciate that they didn’t hold back on the garlic. The dipping sauce that it comes with is phenomenal. Although, I would ask for the fries to be strained. I know they were tossed with a garlic oil, but they were literally swimming in oil. Like I had at least 2 Tbps of oil on my plate from the fries.

Other than that, fries were immaculate....

New years night 2024 , 6 pm we arrived for supper and sat in the mostly empty lounge and the waitress told us to leave as the restaurant was too busy. Of course we asked to speak with the Manager (polite) but and again asked us to leave because they had too many online orders. Please understand we sat in the lounge which can sit likely 20 to 25 tables and there were 4 or 5 tables with customers at the time so maybe 25% full at the most . The restaurant dining area also had about the same number of tables with customers. In our 65 years on this planet we have never been told by a manager to leave because they refused to service customers because onine orders are more important than people in their restaurant, they wanted to cater to online orders first. Unbelievable , rude experience, this appears to be a manager understaffing on a big holiday, new years evening. This is a Boston Pizza in Regina at Acre 21 which we ' use to ' eat at every week or two , no longer will we be making this restaurant a regular visit. Terrible experience.
