Thai Express — Restaurant in Regina

Sunday special, basil fried rice (Thai flavor with pineapple and tomato is excluded) for $11.88 was average, mostly in part because I asked for it Spicy - and it was anything but. Service was average too, somewhere between 10-15 minutes on a late Sunday evening with 1 customer waiting for his order as I walked in, and a Skip order pickup a few minutes later.

What I'm really disappointed about is that you either wouldn't honor, don't know how, or not yet equipped for the MTY Rewards card to collect points on your purchase - even though you have a stack of cards right beside your POS when paying. A month open and you're not yet set up for it? I would have ordered online instead - but not unlike Mr. Sub - daily specials/pricing are nowhere to be found. And yet Taco Time has theirs with online ordering... go figure.

Not much for seating inside, four or five four-seater tables, and the pop fountain machine is behind the till/POS. No idea if refills are free or not. 2.5 / 5 stars, guys. Not sure if there will be a next time visiting or not from me....

Pretentious. The chairs in the store are fashionable and not at all comfortable. It is trying for a modern, green image, but fails. Wooden spoons don't work. But the plastic forks are good. No lids for the cardboard cups, but plastic straws. Plastic and cardboard containers. I am okay with going green if that's your thing, but for a resturant, you need to be able to eat with the utensils. The spoons are a complete failure. The food was pretty good. When we tried to order 45 minutes before closing, they were out of some of our first choices. The staff were trying as best as they could and were friendly. I know a lot of people do take out from here. I think that is what I would do for...

Went in to get some food for dinner... while I was looking at the menu I seen 2 cooks cooking for skip the dish... I was like hmm let's c what there making .. soo I continue to watch...after a few mins the lady finished her meal.. wiped he sweaty for head with her hands n continue to pack the food with out WASHING her hands....I was like ok hmmm lets see what else goes on...when she finished she wiped he nose with the same hand and continue to clean the walk... after seen that I walked out discussed... I feel bad for who got that food. I almost puked inside ... never...
