Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Regina

Placed an order at 5:37pm online, had an estimated delivery time of 1hr20 mins. Today is oct 31 (halloween) so a long delivery time is to be expected. 7pm rolled around i called the rochdale phone number and was directed to customer service. After giving the phone operator my information i informed the woman i had placed an order online and had an order number. She proceeded to tell me the Rochdale location was closed for the evening and would have to submit an order to a different location. I informed her i had waited a while and grew impatient to which i added “ill just order Little Cesars” and cancelled. This call took place at 7:06pm. At 7:48 pm i got a phone call from a delivery driver stating he was at my door with my initial order placed 2 hours ago. I explained to him i cancelled the order over the phone, he grew upset and proceeded to blame me for the un-coordination.

Tonight, I placed an order online. I received my food in a timely manner. The driver was incredibly happy, polite, and friendly. Upon opening the food. I noticed that there were some sauces I purchased that were missing, I called back the restaurant, asking that the sauces be refunded, and the money just given to the driver, and I didn’t need them to bring me anything.

A little bit later, someone rings the doorbell. Another employee drove all the way to my house to bring me the change from the sauces. Also very nice and friendly!

I’m feel so terribly that there was confusion, I was trying to tip the driver more!

The business went above and beyond. I still told them to keep the money, but I am impressed they would actually drive a reimbursement back. I should have reiterated that the reimbursement was to give the driver a bigger tip!

The experience is usually pretty good, but this time was not great at all (April 2, 2017). I ordered the game day meal online with boneless bites. They called, said there were no boneless bites so I had to get regular wings. I was fine with that. No big deal. But I had 2 pizzas (Hawaiian and Maple bacon) ordered and both were created ridiculously lazy. The largest issue was that the Hawaiian pizza looked like someone grabbed a handful of pineapple and dropped it straight on the middle of the pizza. It was not spread out in the slightest of ways. I tried to call back twice to ask about this, each time the phone was answered and then I was hung up on. Not sure where the issue was but really frustrating when you have a few people over to eat.
