Dixie Lee Richibucto — Restaurant in Richibucto

Brought my mother for supper, i got a chicken snack, she got a fish snack. Food was way overcooked, fish batter was nearly burnt, and mom had to dig out the fish after I had to cut through one end of the battered fish for her. She said fish was way too salty and, of course overcooked to the point of being dry. My chicken leg was way overcooked with hardly any meat that was edible, the breast i had was so dry that even peeling pieces off of it was like tearing cardboard. The skin was too salty, and surprisingly, the meat itself was way too salty too. Fries were also way over salted. We left the fries and the batter to the trash. They charged my mother for tartar sauce... you'd think that would come with the fish snack, but nope. Mom wanted a water, and the water bottle cost nearly $4.00! What a rip off!! I paid for it anyways, and she forgot to put it on the tray... immediately after I paid for it! Had to ask her again for it. All the tables were dirty, with ketchup stains, garbage grease stains, so we ate outside at their outdoor tables... which were also ketchup smeared. I've had better chicken, better service in a cleaner dining room at all other Dixie Lee's. Never go to Richibucto's Dixie Lee. Total disapointment. Not sure if Keely's still own it, but if they do, they just want to gouge their customers and no longer care about quality of food, service, or their restaurant. Over $28 for 2 overcooked, oversalted snack boxes and a water! We threw more than half of it out. NOT...

Paid $30 for. A small "large" popcorn chicken, 1 thigh, 2 sprites and a coleslaw. Feeling disappointed... Great food, great service! Staff and quality was great! This poor review is not the staff's fault. We stopped in for a quick lunch. The bill quickly added to about $30...I figured... maybe the popcorn chicken was bigger than we thought, and we would have left-overs. Nope... We actually had to go home for lunch after this sad snack. I can't justify returning. I can't imagine how small the small popcorn chicken would be! We used to get 4 times the amount of popcorn chicken at KFC for $10. They charged us $15 for this small box of chicken! Sorry.. I loved this place until today. 😢 Very disappointed. The colslaw wasn't good either.

Stopped tonight and waited over 1hr and was told 15min when I ordered and went to have a seat and other customers told me they had already been waiting 1hr. Thursday night with the chicken snack on special they should have been better prepared. No sence getting upset at the front line workers as the owner is the one who promised a good service. While I was still waiting after 1.2hrs more people came in and saw people waiting and walked out. Crazy to wait that long in a Take Out. I heard there was another chicken place in Saint Louis so was going to ask for my money back when they called my...
