Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Richmond Hill

I ordered a Triple Treat Box and discovered hair baked into my pizza—it was only noticeable once I started eating. Disgusted, I threw out the entire box because I didn’t want to risk finding more hair. It's unacceptable that such a thing could happen.

When I asked for a full refund, the manager said I had to bring back the box, which I had already discarded. After I explained this, he still insisted that the refund depended on seeing the pizza. He then offered a replacement meal, but why would I risk eating here again after this experience?

Eventually, I went back to the location and showed a picture of the hair. Despite this, the manager argued that he needed to inspect the rest of the meal for a full refund. This made no sense; a single hair is enough to ruin a meal, and I shouldn't have to return all the food to prove that. I gave up arguing, as it was exhausting. Anyways, I got a partial refund of $15.

I also pointed out that staff weren’t following proper food safety protocols: some employees weren’t wearing hairnets correctly, with hair sticking out, and the pizza makers only wore hats. I’m deeply disappointed by this poor customer service, dismissive attitude, and the assumption that I would lie over a $50 refund—especially when I had photo evidence.

Just so everyone else can see and understand why I'm aggravated and disgusted, I posted the photo of the hair, as you can see there is food in it too.

I'm sure the guy I talked to will reply here as he was argumentative and didn't have a human notion to understand where I'm coming from. I'm just disappointed...

Aishwarya was one of the staff that helped alot System of Pizza hut app was glitching and it mistakenly order duplicated by itself through the app and the staff realized and called me directly to let me know that same order has been given twice in separate bill would i still want it or not! And I said it was a mistake and i only want one! She prevented me paying twice and also prevented the store of losing money on making extra order just because of the pizza hut app glitch. It was good service and good food and very good staff in terms of treating customers and place is clean as far as I could see the kitchen and the front of the store. Payment was fast and easy and also food was ready very fast! Maybe less than 15 mins.

I have came to the place as always today on Monday of July 29th/2024 Sonam was the staff and she also gave me the best pizza and it was ready very fast. She was very friendly and awesome and made the transaction very smooth I think all the staff in this Pizza hut are friendly and amazing not just specifically one. IM sure the owner is grateful for such staff and should be grateful and aware of rewarding the staff with raise not all pizza hut staff are as friendly and welcoming as other...
