What an incredible find! I recently had the pleasure of ordering from Ren's Sushi and was blown away by the quality. I called ahead to order a Green Dragon roll and some torched salmon sushi, and everything was ready for me to pick up right on time. The sushi itself was a masterpiece—each piece was so fresh, expertly crafted, and absolutely delicious. The flavors were vibrant, and you could tell how much care went into making them. The service was also top-notch. The owners were so friendly and welcoming when I came to pick up my order. It's clear they take great pride in their restaurant and their food. On top of the great food and service, the prices are incredibly reasonable, which is a huge plus. I also learned they provide sushi for school lunches, which is such a fantastic idea. Ren's Sushi is definitely my new go-to spot. I highly recommend it if you're looking for high-quality, fresh, and delicious sushi served with a...

Below average quality, VERY cheap with portion size and slow service.

We waited over 50 minutes after calling in to get our small take out order. We received no estimated time from the restaurant. We ordered two rolls and a small sashimi platter. It seems like they forgot the order and made the order when we arrived 40 minutes after the call. There was 1 table dining in, it should not have took so long.

The choice and portion of their sashimi platter is the cheapest and smallest we have seen. The 4 pieces of tuna sashimi is equivalent to 2 pieces at other restaurants cut thinly in a half. The surf crab is also a very odd choice to include.

The rice could use more flavour and overall the rolls look very amateur made and not so flavourful.

It seems if you use the 50% off (cash), they really cheap out on the portions and the price ends up being same as other restaurants in the Richmond Hill area that tastes much better...

I recently dined at REN SUSHI, and was unfortunately met with a series of disappointments. Firstly, the service left much to be desired. Our server was not only rude but also seemed indifferent to our presence, which significantly dampened the dining experience. The food, which I hoped would be a saving grace, was equally underwhelming. Not only did it lack the expected flavor and quality, but it also did not justify the high prices. In essence, both the service and the culinary offerings were far from meeting the standards one would expect from an establishment charging such premium rates. Regrettably, I must advise against visiting this restaurant. It was a disheartening experience where both the service and the overpriced dishes failed to live up...

A small sushi place tucked conveniently beside Sue’s Market, clean, but with very limited seating , so I usually buy take out when coming to the market. So far i have tried their Spring Tray, i liked the salmon and disliked fried rolls. The torched sushi is heavily topped with sauce, not to my liking, i cannot taste which fish is which, but i do like the rice. Takoyaki is ok, doesn’t have the topping as shown on the picture, either the avocado salad doesn’t match the picture either. This is a problem for take out as people order as per the picture, will be disappointed if it doesn’t match the picture. More efforts are needed to take actual pictures of what people will get.

This place does not have AYCE. This is strictly an a la carte menu location. For me, personally, good sushi is a mix of quality and price. The quality is there but the price is not representative of what you're getting. You can most likely find cheaper sushi elsewhere, but to their credit, the pieces are decent size. For all my sushi lovers out there, if you want the best bang for your buck, go to an AYCE. For people who like to say they like sushi because they want slightly above average sushi for higher than average price, this is your spot.
