Visiting Tim Hortons should be a simple, everyday experience: grab a coffee, maybe a snack, and go on with your day. Unfortunately, my recent visit to this location was anything but ordinary—it was a complete nightmare. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that chaos ruled this establishment. The floors were sticky, tables were covered in crumbs, and trash bins were overflowing. It was the kind of mess that makes you wonder if anyone here has even heard the word “cleanliness.”
But the real disaster began at the counter. The server, instead of greeting me or taking my order, was yelling at another employee across the room. I waited patiently, hoping to be acknowledged, but was completely ignored for several minutes. When I finally tried to get their attention, they snapped at me as if I had personally caused the chaos, their tone so hostile it left me stunned. My simple order—a coffee and a sandwich—turned into an ordeal. The coffee arrived cold, the sandwich was missing half the ingredients, and when I pointed it out, there was no apology, no offer to fix it—just indifference.
Meanwhile, other staff members simply watched the scene unfold, chatting among themselves and doing nothing to help. Management was nowhere to be seen, leaving customers to navigate this storm of incompetence and rudeness on their own. It was impossible not to feel disrespected, ignored, and completely unwelcome.
This experience was more than just poor service; it was a full-on assault on basic customer decency. I left the store frustrated, angry, and astonished that a national chain could allow this level of chaos and hostility. I cannot stress enough: avoid this Tim Hortons at all costs. Unless you enjoy being treated like an inconvenience in a café of utter incompetence, find somewhere else to spend your money. This visit was, without exaggeration, one of the worst customer experiences of my life. All the workers who were acting up and being rude...

Read moreToday I tried the new crispy chicken sandwich at 12:10pm... what a mistake for me. 1/ the white flour bun was tasteless, untoasted and a squished hamburger bun. The chicken had a decent taste, but the sandwich wasn't hot... and in retrospect tasted bland and somewhat funny. I also had a Tim's coffee.
2/ on the way to my meeting at 1pm, I started developing stomach cramps.... highly unusual for me. I got to my meeting and headed straight for the bathroom... diarrhea, and I started to get a cold clammy feeling, and my head felt like a headache was coming on. 20 min. later, I aborted my meeting and headed to the bathroom again, this time to throw up as well as diarrhea. I headed home immediately because I feeling terrible, and just as I got home, I had the runs again... along with the chills and fever. I'm writing this review at 6:42pm the same day and I've been to the toilet 2 more times.
I suspect that the food might not have been cooked properly, or had been contaminated by bacteria either by contaminated food surfaces or employees that didn't keep their hands clean.
I'm presently put off Tim Hortons for everything but coffee.
Did anyone else get sick at...
