Yummyslice Pizza — Restaurant in Richmond

Spoke with the owner of Yummy Slice, Tharsan (who also provides hot lunch at my children’s school), to see if he could help with an event we were hosting for families and children. He was very responsive, helpful, and answered all my questions. He was also incredibly accommodating with our requests and generously gave us a good deal and even comped some of the boxes we ordered.

Families and staff were extremely happy with the quality of the pizzas 10/10. Communication with both the owner and the manager at this location was also 10/10. Tharsan relayed our order to the store, and when I checked in a few days before the event, the manager confirmed everything and was very friendly. The staff at this restaurant is extremely unwelcoming and unwilling to serve customers. I came to this establishment to pick up my Too Good To Go order, and I also specifically ordered honey garlic chicken wings and a side of fries. However, they completely failed to offer to heat up my pizza and showed no willingness to help. Furthermore, they gave me chicken wings with absolutely no sauce, completely neglecting the honey garlic flavor I requested. Additionally, they didn't provide any ketchup for the fries. Besides this, if they are not willing to provide the Too Good To Go service, they shouldn't offer it at all. They shouldn't treat their customers differently. If you care for hygiene, this location might not be the best one for you. The two staff preparing the pizza are constantly talking nonstop facing the pizzas without masks. Some people are OK because saliva gets evaporated during the process but after it's taken out it gets on again due to the excessive talking. So it's upsetting for me. I arrived on time to grab my pizza to realize it's cold already. So they are pretty quick. They got the order wrong too over the phone maybe because too busy talking or working.
