Saturday the 7th of March 2020, we tried to Tim Hortons. After lining up around St Lazare Quebec for a Tim Horton and just standing there for like almost 20 minutes with very little progress we left..this Tim seemed to be way understaffed I no have no ability to process clients quickly does calling a fast food restaurant a slow food restaurant. And outside the car lineup wasn't moving either. later on in the day towards the end of the day we went to another Tim's and the lineup with fewer people was about 15 minutes and we noticed there was almost no staff either on. Saturday evening. Besides cancelling the roll up the rimcontest for whatever reason they've also seem to have cut back on their staff substantially either that or people are quitting working at Tim Hortons on mess. And the quality is not what it used to be which wasn't amazing but it was decent. Now maybe the donuts are qualified as decent sugar and the coffee not so much.at the one in Quebec around rigaud coming back towards Montreal from out of the province, I noticed in the lineup that they were featuring coffees a different types for sale with no l price tags!.. II Tim Hortons that evening rather than in the morning where we gave up, how to sign saying they won't refill your cups.. if I'm going to wait for a service I'll go to a proper restaurant and sit down because they can service coffee faster than Tim could serve us as their cash register where everything else is self serve.. since the South American corporation bought the moat it's been downhill every step of the way. It's no longer Canadian institution...
Read moreTim Hortons has gone downhill in the last few years, and this location is a prime example as to how bad it has become. From the moment we walked in the door, to the moment we were able to place an order, about 20 minutes had passed (there was only about 6 people ahead of us). If it weren't for the kids really wanting a doughnut, I would have left after five minutes, tops. When we got to the register to place our order, we realized that it was a trainee that didn't know how to enter orders. This trainee had been left on her own with no one to assist her. She was entering orders incorrectly and at a very slow pace. Where was her trainer?? Once order placed, the challenge was to get what we actually ordered. Wasn't complicated; an Iced Cap, a tea, and two doughnuts. The hunt for the doughnuts was the toughest. They did not know their own doughnuts. Even with ridiculously accurate visual description of the doughnuts, along with their names, they were still unable to get that right (this may explain the insanely long wait times). In any case, the owner of this franchise should have been on site to make sure it operated smoothly, but I guess that's too much work for those rich franchise owners.
I would avoid this location, if you can. In my case, I've had so many disappointing experiences at various Times Hortons that I will avoid their chain altogether.
Tim Hortons is no longer Canadian, and it shows. It's time we let go of this once proud Canadian Icon and move on to a better...
Read moreThe main thing I notice about this place is the sheer quantity of mistakes. Always double-check your orders here, as I'm averaging two mistakes per order now.
The staff are welcoming and friendly, which is the only reason I gave two stars and not one. I've encountered only one employee who was not specifically friendly, but never have encountered any with bad attitudes.
They very often are short on stock, the drive-through screen doesn't work and is not being repaired/replaced (and it has been over half a year at the time of this writing), and today my wife noticed that the timbits she returned - the wrong kind being given to us again - were being put back on the display shelf by the girl she interacted with.
All in all, you'd be better off getting your food and coffee at the McDonald's one exit down. You'll get faster service, less mistakes, and are less likely to get...
