5 years since I left a food review (not into chasing all the possible reviews of everywhere I go)
Having said that, being from Belgium. I went into this shop after being told they had lots of items with good quality chocolates.
The owners did put the work into making quality products.
The hazelnut ice cream was good. The chocolate "pralines" are tasteful, the Cabernet Sauvignon was my favorite one.
The hot chocolate was actually made with real chocolate.
The almond paste filled croissant and pain au chocolat were good.
The regular croissant and pain au chocolat could use a few more fold and maybe a different setting for cooking. Likely one different item of the raw items I won't mention here as it's a "secret" and I am sure the owner very likely knows about it. Since this place isn't a full blown bakery I wouldn't expect them to have prime Croissants and Pain au chocolat, but it's still very good compared to many similar small shop...
   Read moreWe had a snack break here during our Christmas vacation at Rossland. We had a cookie, hot chocolate and a flat white. Cookie was quite crispy, which was contrary to what I expected a more chewy chocolate cookie. It was quite good, though. Flat white and hot chocolate were quite nice.
The only problem they had only one large table in the middle of the shop. The shop was not very big, so sitting on the bench made me worried that I was in the way for other customers who were browsing the chocolate. I was also more concerned about the space around me and potential body contact with others due to my pregnancy.

The prices were great so it allowed me to stock up and buy quite a bit a chocolate to bring home and share with friends. I will definitely visit again if im ever back...
