Ordered two times now, unfortunately can't order again.
The first time, our order was missing a meat dish that cost a significant amount and we could not get through to ask about it and did not feel like driving the 15 minutes back not knowing what they would do.
Our second time, trying to give a new local business a chance, we found the food very bland. The Pad Thai tastes as though it's made with sweet and sour sauce and was missing anything that resembled green, it was literally noodles, bean sprouts and the protein, no green onions or lime, fairly certain that peanuts in any form or tamarind came no where near this dish. The chicken fried rice was the same, there was no egg, green onions, nothing, it was rice and a little bit of chicken. Lastly the chicken balls were a very dark brown, maybe old oil, and we're mostly batter.
Sadly, our recent meal was a very poor representation of everything that we love about Asian cuisine, something we've missed dearly...
Read moreWent here today and just finishing up our meal. I decided to go after two recommendations from non locals. I’m a local for 30 years which is ironic. I get picky with my food and I go to Ottawa. Little tired of the fast food joints going up at every corner around here. Service was excellent! Speedy and with a great smile and appreciation as I told them this is my first time trying them out. The garlic spareribs were amazing! The chicken balls the best I’ve ever had, the cherry sauce was superb, the General Tao unreal!! The egg rolls I’ve heard someone review here were awful?! No …Absolutely NOT. in fact they were best I’ve ever had. Beef and broccoli amazing, Almond guy ding good! Chicken fried rice amazing, chicken soo Guy and gravy fantastic. I would have to say as a family that loves pad Thai It did fall a bit short, it was a bit dry and lacked the flavour we love with pad Thai. But really happy we tried it and will be back for...

What happened?? How did you guys go from amazing food to what you are serving today??
My family got me some food from Asian Express on Father's Day as a treat. Typically the food is above average and we enjoy it. Unfortunately on Father's Day the food was bad and the portion seemed to have shrunk. The Singapore fried rice noodle was in a much smaller container than before. It had 1 price of pork. Normally the three of us can have a healthy portion each and have leftovers. This time it was only enough for three moderate servings. The General Tso was soggy with some of the pieces missing batter.
We are pondering what to have for dinner tonight and we want to order out. I WISH I could trust this food and portions are back to normal, and that this was just a bad day for them but I'm not willing to spend 50 bucks to find out.
This is very unfortunate because we had many great orders from them...
