I've been going a number of times to thist Boston Pizza and have been disappointed unfortunately every time. I'm not a huge fan of their pizza (which may simply be my personal preferences for pizza) so I try to get other items like pasta, nachos or wings and ribs. The wings and ribs portion are small, I don't mind paying more for a reasonable portion but not an option here. The big disappointment is the pasta, the meat portion is so sad to say the least, the jumbalaya had 5 little pieces of sausage (reasonable), 4 mini cubes of chicken (rediculous) and 6 of the smallest shrimps I've ever seen in my life (also very rediculous).... And too many noodles oddly enough. I've tried the build your own past on a seperate occasion and ordered many different types of meat in an effort to solve this problem ... well over $25 for the plate... And still tiny amount of meat (actually worst then mentioned above with the jumbalaya). The taste of the pasta is reasonable, but nothing to get overly excited about. For the nachos, the type of cheese they use is extremely low quality and tastes and smells very bad. They could probably spend pennies (under a 1$ for sure) for better quality cheese given the relative small amount and improve the quality drastically..... Trust me, it was aweful. The service was also extremely poor on today's visit, I'm not sure if our server was too busy with what she had to work with, but visited the table rarely, didn't even bother to clear any of the table before or during the time we were having dessert (ate desert surrounded with dirty plates). I think after many many "second chances".... that's it! I'm unfortunately done with given second chances to Boston Pizza. After all isn't the definition of insanity to keep doing the same thing over and over and expecting a...
Read moreWe went for our son's fifth birthday. This was also our first special occasion out to a restaurant since both my son and I received Celiac diagnosis. I called ahead and asked about cross contamination in the kitchen. The person on the phone was super helpful and honest. She explained that they could not guarantee no cross contamination but if let the server know that we are ordering Gluten Wise due to Celiac disease then the kitchen staff treats it like an allergy and prepare the food very carefully. Our son had been asking to go to a restaurant and have pasta for his birthday for over a week so we decided to try it. The staff was amazing when we got there. Our server walked us through the Gluten Wise menu and explained why some items could not be prepared gf. They even brought out a gluten free cake (that I had provided) and 5 or 6 staff sang a birthday song for our little guy. It was his first time having this experience it was so exciting for him. I purposely waited a few days before writing this review to see if either of us had any reaction. The restaurant did a great job of keeping us safe. Can't wait to go back. Thank you for an...
Read moreI was there for dinner around 6pm... Sat at the bar, when the bartender decided that she was ready to come over. I ordered an appetizer and a sandwich as my main. And everything came out at once. Pizza bread and a brute with fries. I then asked for the sandwich to come out later. The bartender came over and argued with me because it was apparently my fault that I ordered an appetizer and my main course at the same time. I also ordered a diet Pepsi as I'm a type 2 diabetic and was given a Pepsi the first time. Then the brute came out without the dip that was on the plate the first time it came out. I couldn't ask for a dip as I was almost done my sandwich before the bartender came over to see how I was doing. At that point I asked for vinegar to put on my soggy cold fries. After I was done I asked the bartender whether the first beverage was a Pepsi and she said yes and when I mentioned that I ordered a diet Pepsi and that I was a diabetic she started arguing with me. I would at the very least should of not paid for my pop and received an apology from the bartender who made a lot of mistakes including serving a diabetic a...
