Hot House Pizza — Restaurant in Saanich

There was so much to choose from today for a single slice. Perogie my absolute favorite. So good!! I got my slice and sat outside and ate it. I went into 711 to get some juice. I met my first Karen! It was a man a Kevin who was giving the cashier a hard time, she was maybe 16,17yrs old he made her cry. I said no need to be rude sir. Well the guy who sold me the pizza was also in the line up. as I left 711 Kevin came out of the store and was literally2 inches away from my face yelling and screaming at me.calling me horrible names and that employee opened the door and said leave her alone. He definitely saved me. I’m outside the hot house pizza in the parking lot. Currently waiting for my calzone… but if it’s anything like the service it’ll be top notch. I’m 30 years and I’ve never tried a calzone before but the guy made it special for me (he put pesto as well as pizza sauce inside) will come back to this review later to let you all know about the taste but so far atmosphere and service has been 10/10. The parking lot is empty and so is my stomach but soon all will be right.

UPDATE: 6 months later and I’m still reeling in pleasure from my calzone. If you have lust for life you WILL try hot house pizza’s calzone. Make sure to get pesto and pizza sauce on the inside. If you are going to order from here, expect a good pizza. Their full pizzas are quite good.

Their downfall is their ‘buy the slice’, when you walk in the door. I had a short intermission between clients and thought I’d stop by for a slice of pizza. Before the Covid lockdown, their take out slices were good... after the lockdown ended, their attention to quality dropped. Today, when I stopped by, 3 of the pizzas looked over cooked, almost burnt.
