I am absolutely APPALLED by my experience here and will never recommend this business.

I eagerly went in for a spray tan and was initially left unacknowledged and unwelcomed by staff, which was just the beginning of my issues. The walk-in spray tan machine ultimately left me with noticeable strips, resembling a tiger. When I asked staff if this was normal (since I had only had manual spray tans before), they completely insulted me by saying my tan turned out that way because of my “back rolls”. This was both insulting and irrelevant as other areas of my body were also striped which I had shown them. I was told the stripes weren’t even noticeable, which was clearly untrue - my entire body was striped. After much back and forth, I was given a refund, but that was the least they could do after that insulting, gaslighting, and lying I endured. I immediately went home and tried to wash the tan off, but the stripes still remain.

Shame on you and your poorly trained / rude staff. This feedback will be reported and escalated...

I showed up for my appointment and Amy didn’t know what I was going there for. Whoever booked my appointment did not tell her that I had already my eyelashes from before. I just needed a refill. I was booked for 2 hours and apparently there was still not enough time for her to work on my lashes. The lady that used to do them in Toronto would spend 30 min max on them. I was supposed to get a new volume set but there was no time enough. Then I agreed to do classic and refill what was missing, but she was not able to do it. She can’t do eyelashes, period. She even offered me to remove mine, go home, and come back another day. Ha!! Really? Over a long weekend?! I’ve been doing my lashes for more than a year now. After 50 min laying down on their bad, she apologized and said that she couldn’t do it. What a waste of my precious time! Never again! That place is not professional. I have been attending this salon for about 8 months and have noticed that the staff are always kind, friendly and knowledgable, but tend to be quite pushy when it comes to sales. Every time I attend the salon it seems like they are trying to convince me to purchase new lotions, goggles etc. or upgrade my membership somehow. This makes me very uncomfortable as I have a difficult time saying no and I don't have the budget for upgrades right now. If I was interested in products or upgrades I would ask but I don't like feeling pressured into making these purchases when I haven't expressed any interest. This salon is clean, close to my house and I've always been happy with my tanning results.
