Aida’s cafe — Restaurant in Sackville

They should probably move the staff lunch table out back to avoid confusion for the customers. I also didn't mind waiting 2 minutes for a table to clear, but the girl who waited on me kept asking me if I wanted takeout despite me clearly saying I wanted a table, as if she just didn't like my answer. Didn't end up enjoying the food either. The pulled pork part of the poutine was more bbq sauce than any sort of pork, and the poutine didn't have gravy or cheese curds, which felt like I was sold the wrong food. No wonder people just had their laptops here with no food. I left so fast I almost thought I forgot to pay, gave myself a heart attack in the car on the ride home until I remembered I paid upfront. That said, I wouldn't have willingly paid for that.

Accident Waiting to Happen!

The coffee itself was good. No complaints here. The man who took my order was trying to make irrelevant small talk about weird and bizarre stuff. I didn’t want pay much attention. Nor was I interested in chatting. The reason I’m giving this a 1 star is because I rolled my ankle coming out of this cafe. This almost sent me to the hospital with a broken ankle or worse. I suffered a bad sprain! The door is at an angle, there is wheelchair / stroller plywood ramp extending out over the sidewalk but unfortunately it doesn’t go edge to edge against the concrete step. This leaves a small section that simply drops onto the sidewalk while your other foot walks down the ramp. This is where I stepped! It wasn’t me this time but it will be someone. The staff here were super friendly, super patient. Great atmosphere

Chicken burger, largely exceeded expectations. Anyone who could possibly expect a better chicken burger from a café will never be satisfied, no matter how far they travel!

Fries are super good.

My wife chicken stirfry was also amazing.
