It's a beautiful new restaurant with a nice atmosphere but the food was way overpriced for the portion sizes and everything we ordered was below average, dare I say awful? We ordered the new seasonal poutine, L'érabliere, a pizza trio, and a burger. L'érabliere came looking nothing like the picture. It cost almost $20 for a small and it had maybe 8 fries in the container, a few slices of cut up hotdogs(not even a quarter of a hotdog) in it and a few grams of ham. The cheese was placed on top after the gravy and there was barely any gravy so the cheese was cold and un-melted. There was not enough food to justify that price point by any means. French fries cost pennies, pile them in there and add enough toppings to justify the price. Also put some cheese under the fries and pour the gravy on top of the cheese, who wants cold cheese curds? As for the burger, it was also way overpriced at $15, the meat patty was tiny and dry and if we hadn't paid extra for the cheese galette it wouldn't have been edible. The pizza was small and the soup was cold and we didn't receive a whole bowl of soup. We paid a fortune and left hungry. What a disappointment. Apart from that, the service was very slow because they decided to train the cashier during rush dinner time?!? why? And we had to go back because they forgot to add an item to the order that...
Read moreWent again for drive thru paid ¢21 for a large poutine and on top they asking for a tip. I can goto other restaurants pay cheaper poutine without being requested for a tip. With current prices, tip company should remove tip option.
The cheese is delicious and squeaky like it should be. The food selection is for carb lovers. Not much of a selection for keto followers or diabetics. They do not even want to make lettuce wraps instead of buns for their burgers. No compromises or dietary assistance here.
As for quality of food, fried foods are just that doughy and oily...
As for budget, this is one expensive joint so get ready to break the piggy bank or learn to share your poutines.
If you want a lettuce wrap, goto A&W or DicAnns instead. They will cater to...
Read moreWe ordered a club sandwhich and smoke meat plate upgraded the fries to a poutine for the smoke meat plate. Lets start with the club everything about it was processed the tomatoes weren't even fresh. The fries were there but not even a full scoop. The fries are dry and cold. The smoke meat processed was rolled up like what you get in a bag at the supermarket not fresh. The poutine was luke warm, dry and not much sauce or cheese. The price point is way too high and the quality of food was like eating a Swanson frozen dinner. Too bad, the decor is nice and well done, prime location but I don't see a future for this restaurant unless it offers real food. Quebec is the birthplace of poutine! you have to step...
