Taco’s Express — Restaurant in Saint-Eustache

Decent food, service was alright. We asked for tap water and they tried to sell bottled water and then a juice. When we said no, one waitress said they don’t have tap water to give. Another waiter came by and we asked again…. He came back with juice expecting us to accept it. We just wanted some water. Eventually we got it… 2 glasses for 4 people, had to ask again and got 1 more glass of water then had to ask again to get the final glass of water. Two of us ordered the fluatas.. only one came to the table, when we asked they said ohh we ran out of chicken and asked if we wanted to order something else. This was after we started eating our food, when they served the food no mention of the second order of flautas (did they think we forgot?). Also on Fridays there is “live” music. More of a man singing karaoke and looking/ browsing at his phone. The food tasted alright, we normally order out. Unfortunately this last time will be our last time. Après avoir lu les avis, on avait vraiment envie d’essayer ce petit resto. On a été super déçu, avec l’impression d’avoir gaspillé notre argent plus qu’autre chose.

Premièrement, ça a pris 15 minutes pour venir nous voir. Ok ils étaient low staff donc on fait preuve de compréhension et de patience.

Ensuite, un resto de tacos, qui ne sert pas de tacos un samedi soir parce qu’il ne restait plus de tortilla. Bon je peux comprendre que ça aussi, ça peut arriver.

Par contre, nos commandes on été mal comprises, autant pour nos breuvages que pour nos plats. On nous apporte les mauvaises choses, incapables de se faire comprendre… ils ont oublié nos accompagnements, pas de riz ni de quacamol avec mon repas, faut que j’attende que quelqu’un vienne nous voir pour demander, bref ça manquait d’organisation et de coordination.

J’ai demandé un extra haricots dans mon gringa, on me l’apporte à coté. Je refais ma demande auprès de la serveuse, qui repart avec mon assiette et revient quelques instants plus tard pour me présenter mon gringa, refroidi, qui a été simplement ouvert pour mettre directement les haricots qui m’avaient été servis à part. J’ai trouvé ça un peu absurde, c’était pas bon non plus… au moins la serveuse m’a offert autre chose mais pour de vrai c’est loin d’être impressionnant comme saveur et comme présentation aussi.

On a pas trop compris nos nachos pas cuits, mais on s’est dit que c’était peut-être réellement la façon dont c’est servi. C’était sec et ça manquait de saveur.

Une chance qu’il y avait de la tequila pour rendre le moment plus agréable. Mais au prix que ça a coûté, clairement que ce n’était pas une expérience qui en valait...
