Pub St-Gab — Restaurant in Saint-Gabriel-de-Valcartier

My son and I stopped in from Ontario. We were down for the winter carnival. We stopped in for something to eat. The food was incredible. But not as great as the service we received. We only speak English. So it was nice that our hostess spoke both English and French. She was very kind. She helped my son. By writing out some ski hills near by. So he could go snowboarding. To me this went above and beyond excellent service. We will definitely be back......If not for there amazing food. Defiantly for there great customer service. They make you feel welcomed....

Had two family dinners here during our stay in Valcartier. Christine looked after our family of five both times and we enjoyed everything! Burgers come well done and dressed, and with ample fries! Real pub feel. Ample free parking. Kitchen closes at 8 or 9 depending on crowd. My only suggestion - if getting a salad, ask for the dressing on the side because that too is a generous portion! Fantastic experience at Pub St. Gab Hope to return one day!...

I had to wait over an hour before my food even arrived. All the waiters were attending other tables instead of ours. We were told to wait because the food would be worth it, but when it arrived it was just average. Not the mention the temperature inside felt colder then outside. By the end I couldn’t feel my toes and just wanted to leave. If your going to go to the Ice Hotel, just eat there. Your experience will be...
